Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£28000 - £32000 per annum

A Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is required for a well-regarded Engineering Company based near the Worcester area. The position is supporting the Facilities manager with on site maintenance and compliance. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday (daytime hours), providing a competitive salary overall benefits package.

Responsibilities of the Site Engineer include -

Daily checks of the Plant equipment, including start / stop routines.

Planned maintenance routines / inspections.

Effective running of effluent plant.

Handyman duties as required around site.

Control of contractors on site.

Checks to fire alarms / fire doors etc.

Ensure efficient plant operation and compliance to Client and legislative Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.

Drive continuous improvement on site and helps towards maximising overall site efficiency.

Site Engineer desirable skills/experience/attributes -

Background within an industrial building services environment, with competence in building maintenance.

Knowledge of building service and infrastructure equipment.

Good working knowledge of Health Safety and Environmental responsibilities

Understanding and working knowledge of maintenance procedures and documenting correctly.

Quality Compliance Lead

£30000 - £35000 per annum

A Compliance Quality Lead job opportunity has become available, within a world-leading Aerospace Manufacturer. Located in the Birmingham area, this company is offering a competitive starting salary and overall package for a proactive engineering professional.

Compliance Quality Lead Responsibilities include -

  • Ensure that corrective action reports from audit results (CARs or Quality Concerns) are understood, agreed and delivered on time.
  • Make sure that any CARs that aren't processed within the agreed timescales are marked as high priority.
  • Support the company, when external auditors are on site.
  • Support Quality Management during annual leave/sickness periods.
  • Complete compliance audits, aligned to schedules, ensuring that they meet the regulatory requirements and working procedures.
  • Supervise release staff competency checks as/when required.
  • Ensure that all weekly/monthly reports are completed accurately and on time.

Compliance Quality Lead Desirable Skills/Experience/Attributes -

  • Experience in a similar position, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part 145 (desirable)
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Ability to undertake occasional travel.

Quality Engineer

£38000 - £45000 per annum

Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

  • Review and monitor all 8D and PPAP submissions, ensuring any customer queries are reported in a timely manner.
  • Produce all relevant quality documentation whilst dealing with customers.
  • Liaise with customers, ensuring all quality activities are aligned to the automotive standards.
  • Work alongside other departments to ensure all customer specifications are on time and within budget.
  • Drive process quality improvements using quality tools including SPC, 8D and PMFEA.
  • Manage and create APQP documents and include FMEA and control plans.
  • Attend all relevant quality meetings including APQP meetings, New Projects & changes to the engineering process.
  • Assist work instructions and track engineering changes.
