Injection Moulding Setter Technician

£25000 - £28000 per annum

This well-established manufacturer of plastic products is currently seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter Technician to join their team on a 3 shift basis, Monday to Friday.

Working at their modern facility, with the mouldshop machinery ranging from 22-500T, as setter Technician your duties will include -

  • Condition setting
  • Tool changing
  • Troubleshooting
  • Working with robots

To be successful in the role for injection Mould Setter Technician, the ideal candidate -

  • Must have experience within injection moulding
  • Will be able to set machines, ideally from scratch
  • Be able to troubleshoot moulding issues

  • Starting salary of £25-28k depending on salary

CNC Programmer

Responsibilities for the role include -

- Programming, Setting and Operating of HAAS CNC Machining centres
- Writing new programmes long hand at the machine, then prove out
- Full setup including tooling, jigs, fixtures, machine speeds, and feeds
- Running a first off and inspecting using measuring equipment, before final pass off from QC department
- Working from customer drawings, CAD designs, and job route cards
- Producing one-off components to small batch work from a range of materials
- Continuous improvement to programmes written to improve cycle time, tooling life and scrap reduction


We would love to hear from you if you've had experience in the following -

- previously worked as a CNC Milling Programmer, CNC Miller, or Machining Centre machinist
- Be able to write using FANUC or Haas controls
- Confident with high-frequency setups for 1 off component manufacture
- Understand and interpret 2D & 3D drawings
- Flexibility towards overtime when required

Working hours are 7:30am - 4pm Mon to Thurs, with a 12:30pm on finish on Friday

Fabricator Welder

£28000 - £33000 per annum OVERTIME

The business is a specialist design, manufacturer, and supplier of conveyor and automated solutions all over the UK. With an expert team of staff on board including workshop foreman and manager to support your initial integration into the team, you'll be an integral part of already is a hugely successful operation with a multi million pound turnover each year.

Benefits include a basic hourly rate of £14.35 p/h, overtime paid at Time & 1/2 for weekday and Saturday,
25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension scheme, childcare vouchers and other quarterly incentives.


Responsibilities for the role include -

- Assembly of pre cut mild and stainless steel section / sheet from 1mm to 20mm thick steel
- Cutting, folding, bending and shaping into required sizes
- MIG & TIG welding of materials, jigging of parts into place
- Dressing, linishing and finishing of welds ready for inspection
- Working from detailed engineering drawings and 3d diagrams, as well as material lists
- Ensuring all work areas are maintained to strict health & safety standards

Fabrication Team Leader

£35000 - £37000 per annum OVERTIME AND BENEFITS

Responsibilities for the role include -

- Organizing the team daily to carry out all works orders to ensure targets are met
- Supervising the team to ensure completion of jobs to customer required deadlines

- To ensure that all health and safety, PPE and best practice is being adhered to
- Troubleshooting any production issues, resolving before they escalate
- Carry out fabrication of various materials including mild, carbon, duplex, super duplex and stainless steel
- Marking out, cutting, folding, bending and shaping into required sizes
- MIG & TIG welding of materials, jigging of parts into place ready for positional welding
- Working from detailed engineering drawings and 3d diagrams, as well as material lists

Maintenance Engineer

Purpose of the Maintenance Engineer -

Provide Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance assistance, to ensure a smooth running of the manufacturing operation.

Maintenance Engineer responsibilities include -

  • General repair and ongoing servicing of machinery on site.
  • Fault diagnosis (electrical and mechanical) as and when required.
  • Management of routine servicing schedules.
  • Keeping manufacturing management regularly informed of progress.
  • Making routine checks on machinery on site and parts.
  • Problem-solving and reacting immediately, to any machine breakdowns.
  • Liaising with client divisions and customers.
  • Monitoring maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.

Maintenance Engineer desirable skills/experience/attributes -

  • Experience within a similar position.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible with shift patterns.
  • Ideally an Electrical and Mechanical background, but there is flexibility.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatica, AC/DC drives, PLC fault finding, thermoforming machines, extrusion, plastic injection moulding machines is desirable.
  • Relevant manufacturing/engineering education (HNC/HND or equivalent).

Toolroom Machinist

Up to £21164 per annum

Our client are a renowned manufacturer who require a Toolroom Technician for their busy operations.

The Toolroom Technician will be responsible for the manufacture of all types of tooling used in the manufacture of the Company's products. Working as part of a team you will work closely with the Tool Room Supervisor to ensure all tooling requirements are met in within timescales and to a excellent standard.


The vacancy attributes/requirements;

The ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings

Ensure the tooling is maintained correctly to maximise production

Safely operate conventional Tool room equipment such as Universal Milling machine, Centre Lathe and Hand Tools etc

Use measuring equipment correctly such as micrometres, vernier callipers, depth gauges, height gauges, comparators, etc

The ability to MIG Weld would be an advantageous but not essential.

A high level of workmanship is required.

The ideal person

The ideal person for this role will be a time served or apprentice trained manual toolroom machinist with good communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.

Injection Moulding Technician

£28000 - £33000 per annum

This large modern trade moulder with up -to-date machinery is currently seeking an Injection Mould Technician to join their team.

Established over 50 years ago, they have an automated Mouldshop with 50 machines, and operate across 3 shifts on a 24/5 basis.

As Injection Moulding Technician, your duties will include -

  • Taking ownership of Machine & Process settings by continual viewing/monitoring of conditions on the shift to drive improvement to Quality & OEE performance.
  • Providing leadership for the setters & technical expertise to the shift structure through problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
  • Enhancing and continuously improving the skill levels of Setters through mentoring and training.
  • Review and report back any cycle times running longer than costed/recorded on Job Shop.
  • Undertaking trial work, managing NPI Project Green, with an aim to achieve time and budget expectations, whilst providing robust Settings for use in production.

To be successful in the role of IM Technician, the ideal Candidate will -

  • Be skilled working within an Injection Moulding environment, holding the title of Setter, Technician, or Process Engineer.
  • Be able to carry out tool trials, effectively troubleshoot, and process optimise.

Hours: Late shift, Mon-Fri, £31500.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of a busy Mouldshop processing a variety of materials.

This company based near Eynsham is commutable from Oxford, Chipping Norton, Banbury, Abingdon, and Faringdon.

As Injection Moulding Technician, your duties will include -

  • Condition setting machines
  • Carrying out tool changes
  • Troubleshooting mould and process issues
  • Process optimising
