Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias

£30000 - £36000 per annum OT, Bonus, Healthcare

This award winning manufacturer supplying to some of the World's leading brands is currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team working on a Continental shift basis.

As Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery, including PLC automated machines
  • Fault-finding on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Carrying out planned maintenance, unplanned reactive maintenance PPM's and continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will -

  • Be an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician from a manufacturing environment
  • Have an Electrical bias, but also have experience of mechanical and hydraulics/pneumatics
  • Have knowledge of PLCs
  • Be able to confidently fault-find

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

I am currently working with a global market leader in the automotive sector, this rapidly growing business design, manufacture and supply new solutions and electronic technologies for various types of vehicles. The company I am working with have over 20,000 employees and have over 20 manufacturing facilities worldwide!

Due to growth this company are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimal and efficiency is maximised. They will be required to carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs and modifications on plant machinery as required.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Experienced carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and modifications within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • HNC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification.
  • Hands on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure when needed.

£25000 - £30000 per annum Company Van and bonus

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£35000 - £40000 per annum death in service, 33 days holiday

Established over 50 years ago, this leading, award winning plastics manufacturer are now seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team working on days Monday to Friday.

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

  • Machine breakdowns, servicing and repair of Injection Moulding and Ancillary equipment
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
  • Machine upgrades, refurbishments and improvements
  • Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs

To be successful in this role, the ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience within the Plastic Injection Moulding industry
  • Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics

Based in the Middlesex area, this role is commutable from Harrow, Watford, Maidenhead and Weybridge

Candidates suitable for this role are likely to already hold the title of Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Facilities Engineer, Electrical Engineer.

On offer for this role is a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 working 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday along with 25 days holiday, 5% pension, and Death in Service scheme.

Field Service Engineer

I am currently working with a global market leader in the design, build and supply agricultural machinery of the successful business have been established for over 40 years and now have a large client base worldwide!

This growing business are seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the Shropshire area to come in and carry out which will machinery installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance. The Service Engineer will work from home and attend machinery breakdowns at customer sites on a national basis as well as keeping up with customers planned maintenance schedules.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Experienced carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, servicing and installation within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Decent knowledge carrying out fault finding on PLC systems.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Mechanical experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
  • Experienced working in a field based, customer facing position.
  • Full & clean driving license.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of around £30,000 with a company van included. The Engineer will be paid for all travel as well as full expenses when occasionally staying away. In terms of overtime, there is plenty available at competitive rates and the successful company are offering career progression for the right candidate!

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£28000 - £30000 per annum Call Out Overtime

Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled) - RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

A global manufacturer which supplies safety critical components for complex applications is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for providing Mechanical & Electrical maintenance of equipment and facilities in line with relevant Health and Safety legislation.

Responsibilities Overview:

  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and inspection of facilities & manufacturing plant
  • As part of the site's emergency response team, be on-call outside normal working hours to help with maintenance work during shutdown periods and emergencies
  • Be first point of contact regarding all safety issues & maintenance for site & plant equipment

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required to be successful:

Interested in speaking with experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance

Technicians, Site Engineers, Service Engineers skilled in both plant & facilities maintenance

Hold a recognised Electrical qualification, for example 17th/18th Edition or equivalent

Able to work at heights

Prepared to work 'out of hours' and on call

Must be able to obtain Security Clearance
