PREFERED RECRUITMENT SUPPLIER

Selecting ASC as your recruitment partner of choice

Working with a recruitment agency

There are a number of ways you can work with a recruitment agency including exclusively (sole supplier agreement), as part of a PSL (Preferred Supplier List), or a small number of agencies. However you wish to work with an agency, ASC can accommodate your choice.

Exclusive Recruitment Partner (Sole Supplier Agreement)

Working with a single agency saves you time and money in the long term. The agency is 100% committed to you and are entirely responsible for your recruitment requirements.

For you this means:
  • No duplication of candidates
  • A better candidate experience (they are only approached by one agency not multiple for the same job)
  • No answering the same questions time and again
  • Not dealing with multiple agencies for the same role which can be time-consuming
  • More time to focus on other business needs

At ASC we prefer to work exclusively with our clients where possible. This is because we know we can offer a quality service through the ability to provide tailored solutions that fit your business needs.

If you work exclusively with us you will receive:

A dedicated Account Manager

Someone who knows your sector well and will focus on your roles only.

High-quality candidates

Your dedicated person will focus all their time on finding candidates for your roles. More time means they can be extra thorough to ensure they find the best person for the job.

More control

Your reputation and brand is important to you. Working with just ASC will ensure your message remains consistent when we are speaking to potential hires.

Working with multiple agencies as part of a PSL

Working with a number of different agencies can be beneficial if you are hiring for high-turnover positions as it can keep costs down. However ensuring these agencies are part of well-structured PSL that provides clear guidelines, service agreements and performance indicators ensures a more streamlined service and consistency of candidates.

ASC is happy to work with clients that offer a clear PSL agreement. We have demonstrated our ability to perform to the clients we currently work with and by being awarded REC Audited status.

Working with a small number of agencies

Choosing to work with a small number of agencies (2-3) can improve the quality of candidates you receive. It allows you to build more invested relationships. It may be that you choose to work with agencies that specialise in your sector or the skills you are looking for.

We have a number of long-standing clients who choose to work this way. Many of them work with us because we are specialists within their sectors and have been able to showcase our knowledge of the marketplace and take the time to find the right candidates for them.

In recent years, the traditional 9-to-5 office model has undergone a revolutionary transformation. The rise of technology and changing attitudes towards work-life balance have given birth to the concept of hybrid working – a flexible work arrangement that combines both remote and in-office work. This shift has brought about many benefits for both employers and employees, ushering in a new era of productivity, collaboration, and overall job satisfaction. Enhanced Flexibility: One of the primary advantages of hybrid working is the unparalleled flexibility it offers. Employees no longer need to be confined to their office desks from 9 to 5; instead, they can choose when and where they work. This flexibility allows individuals to tailor their work hours to their peak productivity times, promoting a healthier work-life balance and reducing stress levels. Increased Productivity: Contrary to the initial scepticism surrounding remote work, numerous studies have shown that employees in hybrid working environments often experience increased productivity. The absence of a daily commute, reduced office distractions, and the ability to create a personalised work environment contribute to a more focused and efficient workforce. Cost Savings: From the employer's perspective, hybrid working translates to significant cost savings. With fewer employees in the office daily, companies can downsize their physical office space, leading to reduced rent and utility expenses. Meanwhile, employees can save on commuting costs and allocate those funds elsewhere, further contributing to financial well-being. Improved Employee Well-being: The flexibility offered by hybrid working promotes better mental and physical well-being among employees. The ability to customize one's work environment, take breaks as needed, and avoid the stress of commuting, contributes to increased job satisfaction and overall happiness. Resulting in lower turnover rates and a more engaged and motivated workforce. In Summary The benefits of hybrid working are evident across various aspects of professional life. From increased flexibility and productivity to cost savings and improved employee well-being, this modern work model is reshaping the way we approach our careers. As businesses continue to evolve and adapt to the changing landscape, embracing hybrid working may very well be the key to a more sustainable, efficient, and fulfilling future of work. If you think you would benefit from hybrid working get in touch with one of our consultants and we would be happy to support you in finding a new role.
