Key Responsibilities as a Senior Buyer:

- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.
- Supply Chain Optimisation: Streamline supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of commercial terms.
Ideal Senior Buyer Profile:
- Proven experience as a Category Buyer, Senior Buyer, or Project Buyer within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
- In-depth understanding of commercial terms and contracts.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
