An Airframe Fitter is required for an aerospace manufacturing company based in the Dukinfield area.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing company who supply a broad range of customers across the globe, predominantly within the aerospace industry. You will be responsible for complex assembly, working from engineering drawings, drilling, countersinking, riveting and much more.
Duties include:
- Aerospace airframe fitting and complex assembly
- Working from engineering drawings
- High precision work to aerospace quality standards
- drilling, countersinking, riveting, use of sealants,
- Fitting helicoils and bearings
Prior experience in a similar aerospace / airframe fitting role is required.
This position is working days;
- 7:00am – 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday - 36 hours per week)
- Overtime paid on Fridays and Saturdays
- The rate of pay is £17.07.
This role is on a permanent basis – with no agency period.
