Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager

A leading manufacturer of safety critical applications are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to plan and execute all aspects of marketing including the development of a Group Wide Strategy, to grow all business units.

Purpose of the role

As Marketing Manager you will drive the growth of the business by producing a Marketing Strategy which identifies and delivers new markets & customers as well as developing existing customer accounts further.

To be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment / technology environment
  • Working knowledge of the Aerospace OR Defence industry (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of both Marketing analytic concepts & digital media formats
  • Must be analytic and able to read, analyse, interpret & summarise information from a number of different sources
  • Excellent presentation skills - must be able to produce a diverse set of marketing collateral including brochures & publications.
  • Financial and Commercial awareness
  • Able to travel both UK & Overseas with occasional (short) stays away from home
  • IT Literate - Microsoft Office Applications including Power Point & Excel
  • Full UK driving license

Main responsibilities:

  • Design and develop all product literature & marketing materials to achieve growth plans
  • Identify new markets, channels & customers.
  • Increase brand recognition by formulating a business plan using all marketing platforms.
  • Provide support to the Senior Global Marketing Manager with Corporate events within the UK and US region.
  • Develop sales training for the Global Sales team to enhance marketing activity to new potentials
  • Represent all marketing activities and deliver monthly KPI reports for marketing campaigns
  • Monitor website activity and present through social media as a medium for networking in the most cost effective way

Application/Design Engineer

An Application/Design Engineer opportunity has just become available, within a global and market leading business. Located in the Solihull area, this business is looking for an Engineering professional that can work closely with both the manufacturing team and customer base. Here you'll be given extensive training and career progression opportunities, should this be of interest. Main Purpose for Application/Design Engineer position

  • To facilitate the application of company products, into customer product ranges, by providing technical advice. This will be directly or via the sales teams and about the specification/suitability or design of products within the relevant operating conditions, as defined by the customer or the end user.

Application//Design Engineer Responsibilities include -

  • Provide customers with a professional service, via e-mail/telephone, concerning all technical aspects & for the whole product range in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Give technical advice/recommendations, regarding the specific customer application, often involving visits to/by customers.
  • Ensure the proposed products will achieve technical compliance with both customer, the business and international standards/specifications.
  • Work with customers, business customer service teams/quality team and suppliers on technical non-conformances, to identify root cause and prevent recurrence.
  • Initiate and coordinate additional activities, such as testing and FEA in support of customer requirements.
  • Produce CAD drawings, when necessary, to help support technical proposals
  • Ensure that manufacturing teams have all available and required information, to allow fit for function when designing/specifying a product.
  • Represent the marketing company at technical meetings, with both Company and external suppliers.
  • Conduct technical presentations/training for both customers and internal staff on the product range and capabilities.

Application/Design Engineer Desirable Skills/Experience/Attributes -

  • Experience in similar position.
  • An engineering or other relevant technical qualification, to HND or higher or with comparable demonstrated experience.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings/specifications.
  • Understanding of Quality tools, such as 8D and 5 Why
  • Working knowledge of CAD systems - NX, Catia, FEA (Abaqus)
  • Project management experience.

Roles and Responsibilities of the role:

  • Identifying potential client leads
  • Maintaining existing business relationships with clients
  • Deal with prospective business needs using all forms of communications such as email and telephone
  • Meeting targets and KPIs
  • First point of contact for customers and providing technical support

The successful candidate will have:

Purpose of the role

As the Credit Control & Accounts Assistant you will maintain strong relationships with key customers to enable the payment of invoices.

Marketing Manager

A world leading manufacture are looking to recruit for a Marketing Manager to join them during a period of exponential growth. The main purpose of the role is to increase brand and product awareness and drive sales activity globally.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Driving e-commerce and digital communications to customers and full website responsibility.
  • Marketing strategy development and implementation across all business units
  • Ownership of all brand standards for communications including social media, writing press releases, advertising and other marketing materials
  • Manage and train Marketing team and plan marketing resources adhering to company budgets
  • Work cross functionally with Sales Team, Commercial Director and Product Development team and support any new product launches
  • Management of L&T brand image at conferences and exhibitions
