  • Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance to all Quality Assurance processes on site and implement Project Quality Plans aligned to customer requirements

Compliance/Site Engineer

A Site Engineer is required for a well-regarded Engineering Company based near the Hartlepool area. The position is supporting the Facilities manager with on site maintenance and compliance. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday (daytime hours), providing a competitive salary overall benefits package.

Responsibilities of the Site Engineer include -

Daily checks of the Plant equipment, including start / stop routines.

Planned maintenance routines / inspections.

Effective running of effluent plant.

Handyman duties as required around site.

Control of contractors on site.

Checks to fire alarms / fire doors etc.

Ensure efficient plant operation and compliance to Client and legislative Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.

Drive continuous improvement on site and helps towards maximising overall site efficiency.

Site Engineer desirable skills/experience/attributes -

Background within an industrial building services environment, with competence in building maintenance.

Knowledge of building service and infrastructure equipment.

Good working knowledge of Health Safety and Environmental responsibilities

Understanding and working knowledge of maintenance procedures and documenting correctly.

Quality Engineer

£38000 - £45000 per annum

A Quality Engineer Job opportunity has just become available, within a Global manufacturing business. Located in the Birmingham area, this company is working through a period of growth and is offering a competitive starting salary for the right engineering professional.

Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

  • Review and monitor all 8D and PPAP submissions, ensuring any customer queries are reported in a timely manner.
  • Produce all relevant quality documentation whilst dealing with customers.
  • Liaise with customers, ensuring all quality activities are aligned to the automotive standards.
  • Work alongside other departments to ensure all customer specifications are on time and within budget.
  • Drive process quality improvements using quality tools including SPC, 8D and PMFEA.
  • Manage and create APQP documents and include FMEA and control plans.
  • Attend all relevant quality meetings including APQP meetings, New Projects & changes to the engineering process.
  • Assist work instructions and track engineering changes.

  • Knowledge of the TS/IATF 16949 standards.
