Senior IT Support Engineer

£40000 - £47000 per annum Free Parking, Pension, 25 days holiday

On-site parking, an opportunity to work on infrastructure and network projects, designing and implementing new solutions for installation, this could be you. I would love to hear from you if you would like to provide escalated technical support (3rd Line) along with developing UK server and network infrastructure as a Senior IT Support Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established global company.

Senior IT Engineers Main Responsibilities/Duties/Skills

  • Monitor and maintain the UK network infrastructure, including Firewalls, switches and Wifi Access Points.
  • Act as an escalation point, stepping in when challenging technical issues occur for the wider IT team
  • Work with the Head of IT to design and implement new solutions for installation
  • Microsoft Server and Client infrastructure knowledge including Exchange
  • Experience supporting virtualised servers/ environments (VMWare, Hyper-V) and a good knowledge of different types of network topology
  • Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VLANs, routing, Firewalls and Wireless technologies.
  • Experience of Microsoft SQL Server and ideally Active Directory migrations

This role would suit someone from a 3rd Line Support background, with a broad Support background or a lone IT Manager at a company site providing all-round support. As the successful Senior Support Engineer /IT Manager you will possess excellent collaboration and communication skills and ideally be eligible to undertake security clearance.

Project Manager

£36000 - £43000 per annum Pension, Flexible Working, Life Insurance

Would you like to work with a niche platform and software and be part of a successful team for an established international company? This is an exciting opportunity to manage and co-ordinate the development, integration and delivery of both software and graphical deliverables for clients via one or more platforms and deliver new products and/or enhancements to the software components.

Project Managers Responsibilities & Experience required:

  • Own specific client and internal projects to completion: from technical kick-off, development of high level technical specifications and detailed project plans, through the development lifecycle to release and handover to the client, completing with sign-off by the client.
  • Manage customer expectations and the ongoing relationships with all client & third party resources assigned to work on specific projects, ensuring they understand their project roles, responsibilities, deliverables and time lines.
  • Ensure that products delivered satisfy the agreed requirements.
  • Have previous experience of technical / IT-related project management, ideally in a bespoke software development / new media environment and must be capable of owning, running and delivering multiple projects on their own.
  • Happy to travel for client meetings in the UK and internationally when required

This role will enable the successful person to be involved in diverse elements such as Windows-based software development, networked communications, Internet functionality, 3D television quality graphics and 2D design. This requires a mix of both technical / IT and creative skills. A strong interest in and/or experience in working within the betting, gambling, gaming and/or TV & film CGI animation, industries would be advantageous or have worked in a digital environment on mobile products.

Network Standard Service Lead

£50000 - £60000 per annum Car, Life Assurance, 6% matched Pension

An experienced Network Standard Service Lead will work with Service Management and operational teams to continually address service issues and improve performance, developing the service support model. The Network Standard Service Leader will be able to undergo and achieve SC clearance or be SC cleared already. The role will require extensive travel, mainly to Contract sites as well as a number of Strategic Partner locations and the potential for out of hours work.

Network Standard Service Lead Experience & Responsibilities:

  • ITIL qualified or accredited in Service Management.
  • Previous experience in IT Service Management within an ITIL V3 or SIAM framework.
  • Detailed understanding of Service Management standards (as a minimum ISO 20000, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001.
  • You will need to have exceptional knowledge of the operational processes and procedures across Service Management and Operational teams to support achievement of Service Level Targets.
  • Able to assimilate changes from the market into roadmaps and sufficient detail to actively manage operational teams in delivering the service.
  • Have a detailed analytical approach to data. The role requires reviewing data (live & historic) from large volume operational teams and part of the role is to generate insight and improvement activity based on performance and activity data.
  • Experienced in managing teams, preferably Service Management, Technical Design or operational teams delivering the service.

The Network Service Lead will join the ITS service which is responsible for the delivery of network connectivity services across the UK, Europe and the Global Corporate network backbone. This service connects all sites to Corporate Services, providing local access points and providing site-to-network services, VoIP, SIP Trunking, ISDN and MPLS Services.

Network Support Engineer

£25000 - £30000 per annum Pension, 22 days holiday

Looking to join an expanding team due to the growth of the field team, you could join a company who supply some of the world's most exciting and innovative products into the market place, including Intelligent Machine Control (iMC). I'd love to hear from you if you have previously provided efficient and effective resolution of network, serve and router issues, along with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to explain technical problems in simple terms.

Network Support Engineer Responsibilities & Experience

  • Experience of Windows Server Operating system(s) (2008/2012/2016)
  • Experience of Microsoft Office Support and Development, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft SQL
  • In depth knowledge of Anti-virus and Threat Management Systems
  • To ensure that the IT network is stable, secure and available, that all devices on the IT network are maintained to the highest applicable software levels
  • Provide support for device and network support activities, ensuring that all network and cloud-based data is secure and recoverable.

Working within a team of 3 you will have responsibility for administering secure user access to all systems, ensure that system documentation is relevant and current.

QA Tester

Your birthday off, casual dress to work, an opportunity to work for a global company in an Agile environment, sound interesting? Would you like to run manual tests on games (mobile, retail slot, casino games) during the development phase, with commercial experience, BCS/ISTQB (ISEB) Foundation certified in software testing?

Responsibilities

  • Work as an integral member of the game development team to test features as they are developed
  • Develop user story acceptance criteria and maintain them as the project progresses
  • Create and maintain acceptance test scripts throughout development
  • Constantly run and regress those scripts during and after game development
  • Work with Product Owners and Developers to maintain high quality builds at the end of each sprint
  • Operate and maintain the QA hardware/software environment

I would love to hear from you if you would like to be responsible for maintaining the test environment, maintaining test plans / scripts and work with developers/producers to highlight, analyse and resolve issues. This role would suit anyone who has worked previously in one of the following roles QA, Manual, Software or Test Analyst role.

Fleet Superintendent

£50000 - £60000 per annum

With the ability to travel at short notice do you possess a First Class Certificate of Competency (Deck or Engine) and have extensive experience in O&G or Offshore Wind as a Technical Superintendent? If so I would love to hear from you, as the Fleet Superintendent you will ensure that designated ships are proactively managed safely and efficiently maintained in accordance with IMO Requirements, Flag State and Classification Rules.

Fleet Superintendent Responsibilities & Experience Required:

  • Ensure that all ship activities are conducted in line with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), ISO 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISM Code for (International Safety Management Code), and the ISPS Code (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code).
  • Thorough appreciation of HSE working practices and culture.
  • Knowledge of maritime legislation
  • Carry out vessel visits, inspections and technical audits and provide full reports within agreed timescales ensuring that the Fleet Marine Manager, RQHSE Manager/BU Partner and Master are informed that all areas of vessel management are thoroughly reviewed.
  • To be a part of the Emergency Response Team and to undertake Duty Superintendent Duties as required.
  • Responsible for verifying allocated vessels are compliant with above and that relevant systems in place are adequate for maintaining such compliance.

This role would suit someone who has worked as either a Technical Superintendent or Fleet Superintendent previously or who has the experience to make this the next step in their career.
