Manufacturing Manager Duties include

  • Attend customer meetings, review customer data and required specifications.
  • Create, deploy and maintain manufacturing schedules.
  • Work closely with the design, manufacture and technical departments ensuring that you make full use of all staff available.
  • Co-ordinate production work flows for various projects at any given time.
  • Monitor budgets and project progress.
  • Ensure that departments follow company procedures at all times.
  • Liaise with the clients, internal functions, to help ensure the smooth running of all live projects.
  • Ensure the completion of projects, as to the customer requirements and within the most efficient method.

Manufacturing Manager Desired Skills

  • Experience working within a similar role.
  • Understanding of CNC Machining, General Fabrication and Special Purpose Machinery.
  • Automotive sector experience advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
  • Proactive work ethic and natural problem solver.
  • Relevant engineering education.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, or accredited lean skills gained within a Six Sigma environment advantageous.

Estimation / Production Engineer

An Estimation / Production Engineer job opportunity has just become available, with a well-regarded Manufacturing business near Birmingham. Our client have become a key high volume supplier to various industries, all over the world. A competitive salary package is on offer, for the successful Engineering professional. Duties for the Estimation / Production Engineer role will include:

  • Estimating of new projects, from technical drawing or components.
  • Making sure that APQPs are aligned with customer requirements.
  • Monitoring expenditures for the products that the engineering team order.
  • Introduction and monitoring of Production tooling, in line with APQP requirements.
  • Leading a team during new projects.
  • Generating tooling timeline plans, or assigning this task as and when required.
  • Working closely with the FMEA team on any new business.

The skills/experience required for the Estimation / Production Engineer role includes:

  • Must have experience working within a similar role.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft packages.
  • Will work with a methodical approach.
  • Have the ability to work well independently and liaise effectively with other departments.
  • Able to work proactively and organise workload efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff.

Estimation / Production Engineer position benefits:

Quality Technician

A Quality Technician Job opportunity have become available, within a leading manufacturing business. Located in Cannock, this well regarded company is offering a competitive salary of £25,000, for the right engineering professional.

Quality Technician duties include -

  • Ensure that products meet customer requirements through testing and inspection.
  • Implement corrective actions to rectify non-conformities.
  • Report defected products, whilst inspecting and auditing all components through all stages of the Production process.
  • Through using root cause analysis, raise the appropriate corrective action paperwork if any quality issues are identified.
  • Working alongside the quality manager you will receive and react to any customer quality issues.
  • As a part of your development, you will assist in producing reports based on quality measurement indices, attend internal meetings where required and assist upper management by continuously prioritising efficiency and recommend improvements where necessary.
