CNC Programmer

£15 - £17 per hour overtime

An engineering and manufacturing company, formed in 1969 supplying various sectors such as automotive, aerospace, petrochemical etc.

The company are based in West Bromwich and is commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Walsall & Sutton Coldfield.

The role as a CNC Programmer will have following duties;

  • Operate, set and program Hurco milling machines
  • Carry out checks on the machines and machined parts
  • Work from technical drawings

I would welcome applications from candidates who meet the following criteria;

  • Experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator
  • A knowledge of CAD/CAM / Solidworks
  • Worked within the diecast or plastics sectors.

Combilift driver

£17500 - £18000 per annum overtime

A global manufacturer of fasteners and machined components supplying markets such as petro chemical, nuclear, automotive, heavy engineering etc. Due to continued investment are seeking a combi-lift driver for their operations.

The company is based near Wolverhampton and is easily commutable from Birmingham, Walsall, Wednesbury, Dudley, Stourbridge.

As a combi lift driver you will be expected to carry out the following;

  • Lift tubing and finished products from stock locations to loading bays to vehicles.
  • Transport materials to finished goods locations.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and filed, database updated accordingly.

Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

I would welcome applications from candidates who have experience of driving and operation of a combi lift vehicle and have a valid cert/license to do so. An individual who has some knowledge on sizing of steel/bar etc. Knowledge of stock control is required.

Toolroom Machinist

Up to £21164 per annum

Our client are a renowned manufacturer who require a Toolroom Technician for their busy operations.

The Toolroom Technician will be responsible for the manufacture of all types of tooling used in the manufacture of the Company's products. Working as part of a team you will work closely with the Tool Room Supervisor to ensure all tooling requirements are met in within timescales and to a excellent standard.


The vacancy attributes/requirements;

The ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings

Ensure the tooling is maintained correctly to maximise production

Safely operate conventional Tool room equipment such as Universal Milling machine, Centre Lathe and Hand Tools etc

Use measuring equipment correctly such as micrometres, vernier callipers, depth gauges, height gauges, comparators, etc

The ability to MIG Weld would be an advantageous but not essential.

A high level of workmanship is required.

The ideal person

The ideal person for this role will be a time served or apprentice trained manual toolroom machinist with good communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.

Toolmaker

The duties on the role are;

  • Responsible for servicing of existing press tooling by stripping down the tooling, repairing and then to rebuild
  • To manufacture new press tooling
  • Support any projects from initial commission of tooling to the start of the production process
  • Ensure tooling produced meets required company standard

  • Previous Press Toolmaking expertise - able to make new press tooling, repair and refurbish.

Process Engineer
