CNC Programmer

£15 - £17 per hour overtime

An engineering and manufacturing company, formed in 1969 supplying various sectors such as automotive, aerospace, petrochemical etc.

The company are based in West Bromwich and is commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Walsall & Sutton Coldfield.

The role as a CNC Programmer will have following duties;

  • Operate, set and program Hurco milling machines
  • Carry out checks on the machines and machined parts
  • Work from technical drawings

  • Experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator
  • A knowledge of CAD/CAM / Solidworks
  • Worked within the diecast or plastics sectors.

Application Engineer

£32000 - £38000 per annum

The company are a renowned, global manufacturer of machine tool / cnc machines with over 100 years of successful trading behind them.

As an Applications Engineer you will be responsible for implementing, to develop and prove out process including clamping fixtures and cutting tools on machining centres for the manufacture of specific customer components.

The company is based in Redditch so is easily commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Dudley, Worcester, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, West Bromwich.

Duties / Responsibilities;

  • Writing NC Programs and liaising with cutting tool suppliers
  • Implementing customer specific processes including NC programs, fixtures and cutting tool on machining centres
  • Prove out of NC programs for customer components
  • Optimising programs to achieve agreed quality levels and cycle time
  • Running SPC capability studies to achieve machine sign off for pre and final acceptance
  • Training of customers in operation of their machine
  • Create process methods and time estimates
  • Support customer demonstrations

  • Have worked as a Applications Technician in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to write NC programs from customer part drawings
  • NC controls experience essential (Siemens / Fanuc)
  • Experience in metal cutting procersses and cutting tools
  • Operation of 4 and 4 axis machining centres (Siemens/Fanuc)
  • Experience of CAD/CAM/post processors
  • Ability to interpret mechanical component drawings and tolerances
  • Understanding of SPC methods and interpretation of inspection protocols
  • A driven personality

Combilift driver

£17500 - £18000 per annum overtime

A global manufacturer of fasteners and machined components supplying markets such as petro chemical, nuclear, automotive, heavy engineering etc. Due to continued investment are seeking a combi-lift driver for their operations.

The company is based near Wolverhampton and is easily commutable from Birmingham, Walsall, Wednesbury, Dudley, Stourbridge.

As a combi lift driver you will be expected to carry out the following;

  • Lift tubing and finished products from stock locations to loading bays to vehicles.
  • Transport materials to finished goods locations.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and filed, database updated accordingly.

Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

I would welcome applications from candidates who have experience of driving and operation of a combi lift vehicle and have a valid cert/license to do so. An individual who has some knowledge on sizing of steel/bar etc. Knowledge of stock control is required.

Production Manager

£34000 - £45000 per annum

The company are a high volume manufacturer of metal components. They are an established organisation who have been successfully trading for a number of years and have a respected name in the marketplace.

You will be responsible for overseeing the production facility within this busy volume manufacturer.

The company is based in Redditch so is easily commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Worcester, Kidderminster, Dudley, Alcester, Coventry, Stratford upon Avon.

As a Production Manager you duties will include;

  • Ensuring production and quality targets are met through providing management and supervision of the workforce.
  • A shop floor presence to encourage colleagues. Manage work allocation, planning, performance, training and any disciplinary matters.
  • Identify cost savings through process improvements/implement lean practice.
  • The ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Ensure health and safety practise and procedures are always adhered to.

Have worked in a high volume component manufacturer and held the title of Works Manager, Manufacturing Manager for at least 3 years

  • A hands on approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work under pressurised situations at times
  • Knowledge of Sage manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential.

Toolroom Machinist

Up to £21164 per annum

Our client are a renowned manufacturer who require a Toolroom Technician for their busy operations.

The Toolroom Technician will be responsible for the manufacture of all types of tooling used in the manufacture of the Company's products. Working as part of a team you will work closely with the Tool Room Supervisor to ensure all tooling requirements are met in within timescales and to a excellent standard.


The vacancy attributes/requirements;

The ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings

Ensure the tooling is maintained correctly to maximise production

Safely operate conventional Tool room equipment such as Universal Milling machine, Centre Lathe and Hand Tools etc

Use measuring equipment correctly such as micrometres, vernier callipers, depth gauges, height gauges, comparators, etc

The ability to MIG Weld would be an advantageous but not essential.

A high level of workmanship is required.

The ideal person

The ideal person for this role will be a time served or apprentice trained manual toolroom machinist with good communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.

Electrical Assembler

Up to £17238 per annum

The company are a friendly manufacturer of contact electrical products. They are a successful company who have been trading for over 35 years.

You will be responsible for the set up and operation of SMT equipment along with other hand assembly duties.

The company are based in Windsor so is easily commutable from London, Maidenhead, Reading, Farnborough, Hayes, Slough, Wycombe, Woking.

Duties overview;

  • Set up and operation of SMT equipment along with hand assembly duties
  • Working alongside other technicians, the responsibility to keep machines running efficiently
