I love the variety that these sectors have given me over the years, working with some amazing clients, helping both customers and candidates to find the role that they really want, its simple really, but I gain so much satisfaction from changing people’s lives.

Technical Support Advisor

£18000 - £20000 per annum

An exciting opportunity for an Technical Support Advisor to provide support to Dealers. The successful Technical Support Advisor will have excellent communication, problem solving skills and the ability to look at and interpret data (Excel). Previous experience of providing 1st Line or Service Desk Support would be ideal but full training will be given and there is scope to grow within the role.

Technical Support Advisor Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Strong communication skills, telephone, written and presentation
  • MS Office and good Excel skills
  • Strong telephone skills/experience with a good customer care philosophy
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Respond to customer requests for products and services
  • Monitor key business service levels, report back and make recommendations for improvement
  • Database maintenance and management, ensuring all key business contacts are uploaded in to the data base and records maintained in terms of changes to contact details etc.
  • Ensure the security of the data, produce reports for marketing initiatives or adhoc as required.

Full training will be given to the successful Technical Support Advisor and once completed you will join the shift rota which is a great one to be on. Solution Delivery Manager - CRM

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Solution Delivery Manager - CRM to join an established and growing organisation. As the successful Solution Delivery Manager you will have a broad range of IT and consulting experience, with deep functional knowledge of a tier 1 CRM solution such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce, or ideally SugarCRM and project management methodology.

The Solution Delivery Manager (CRM) role requires excellent customer-facing and outstanding relationship management skills and involve managing the demands of multiple projects simultaneously.

CRM Solution Delivery Managers Responsibilities & Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of a Tier 1 CRM solution, ideally Sugar CRM (SugarCRM accreditation, either Administrator or Solution Architect would be advantageous)
  • Provide the functional and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery through delegation, communication and cross-departmental and divisional coordination
  • Ability to challenge customers to drive a best practice approach to CRM implementations
  • Consultancy experience, including team leadership and involvement in selling professional services
  • Ability to think strategically and turn business objectives into technical solutions
  • Experience of working with all levels of client and project stakeholders up to and including board level
  • Project owner and accountable for successful delivery of the project, establishing what the customer views as a successful project and managing to those expectations

The CRM Solution Delivery Manager will be required to travel to cover a national territory.

Environmental Scientist - (Land Contamination)

£22000 - £29000 per annum

An Environmental Scientist will be responsible for the management of a number of oil pollution and contaminated land projects and undertake all aspects of fieldwork in accordance with Quality System / SOPs, as necessary, including the gathering of all necessary data for site investigations. The Environmental Scientist will conduct field surveys, collect data about levels of contamination on a site and carry out desk based research, interpreting data

Environmental Scientists (Land Contamination) Responsibilities & Experience

  • Have a science based degree along with at least 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • Be an associate/member of appropriate professional body, maintaining necessary CPD requirements for chartership.
  • Be able to identify, analyse and interpret problems effectively and determine appropriate action for their solution based on sound judgement.
  • Ensure work quantity is timely, efficient and consistent with established company standards, maintaining high utilisation and billable time, keeping peers and managers informed of availability.
  • Originate and develop the most cost efficient and effective solution, based on resources.

The successful Environmental Scientist will hold a valid UK driving licence.

IT Service Desk / Field Engineer

An exciting opportunity for an IT Service Desk / Field Engineer with experience delivering 1st and 2nd line support on a service desk and looking to increase your responsibility or seeking a more varied role involving onsite work alongside service desk responsibilities.

The successful IT Service Desk / Field Engineer will be office-based service desk (60%) and (40%) field based on-site. Possessing excellent people and communication skills, and the confidence to offer professional IT support over the phone and face to face. Previous experience of working for an MSP would be beneficial but not essential.

Senior IT Support Professional

An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Professional to work within the team responsible for day-to-day running of the Desktop environment and associated technologies. This will also allow the successful IT Support Professional to take a senior role within the support team and stand in for the manager at meetings and during holidays etc. but also mentor junior team members.

Senior IT Support Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Taking a senior role within the support team, acting as an escalation point and providing mentoring, guidance and support for service desk and desktop support staff.
  • Providing a high level of 2nd line/desktop support covering Microsoft Windows technologies as well as some 3rd line support.
  • Take ownership of complex incidents escalated by Service Desk Engineers.
  • Automation: creating scripts where possible to improve desktop support processes (PowerShell/VBScript scripting).
  • Assisting with upgrades to software and systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills developed working in an IT service-oriented environment.
  • Have an analytical approach - a structured thinker and problem solver
  • Microsoft Desktop operating systems (Windows 7/8/8.1/10)
  • Microsoft Server operating systems (Windows Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2012 R2/2016)
  • Microsoft products including Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Cisco switching and routing configuration experience

There will be an opportunity for the Senior IT Support Professional to be involved with IT project work, working closely with IT Management and senior technicians on technical development. Holding a Full UK driving license you will have an MCSA or equivalent professional qualification and ideally ITIL foundation level qualification.

Technical Specialist - Network Connectivity

£50000 - £55000 per annum

A Technical Specialist for Network Connectivity is required to be based in Solihull with some UK travel required. As the Network Connectivity IT Specialist you will provide senior level technical support services to users and organisations, providing technical information and support on the evaluation, installation, acquisition and use of the Connectivity Standard Service.

The Network Connectivity Technical Specialist will have a knowledge of supporting network and connectivity technologies, including but not limited to: Local site connectivity (MPLS/circuit/resilient connections), large site connectivity (Corporate locations, Contact Centre Services), Internet connectivity, IPVPN services, IP Voice over MPLS/QoS networks, wired and WIFI LAN services, SD-WAN/GWAN services.

Technical Specialist - Connectivity Experience & Responsibilities:

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience in 3rd Line Technical Support roles within an ITIL aligned organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within networks connectivity, able to demonstrate a track record of providing technical support at an experienced level to internal and external teams.
  • Use expert knowledge and experience in diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents, including installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining customer live environments.
  • Manage, establish and troubleshoot issues including detailing issues in service process/procedure and recommending improvements.
  • Monitor and report on the status and progress of Service requests and work-package delivery, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work.
  • Acts as 3rd Line technical support, diagnosing and assigning tickets to the appropriate resolver group, partner or local technician and monitors the status until the incident has been satisfactorily resolved.
  • This role will be required as a minimum to obtain and retain BPSS clearance and depending on the Connectivity Standard Service may require SC clearance.
  • Plan and schedule installation and configuration of the Connectivity Standard Service Installation Service Requests, as well as customer self-service methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering and improving the Connectivity Standard Service usage.

Connectivity is responsible for the delivery of network connectivity services across the UK, Europe and the Global Corporate network backbone, providing local access points and providing site-to-network services, VoIP, SIP Trunking, ISDN and MPLS Services. It is also responsible for managed LAN services, physical and Wi-Fi environments in managed locations providing secure networks.
