For the last 20 years I have focused on recruiting within the IT, Technical, Scientific and Environmental sectors, providing resource solutions for contract, permanent, RPO and managed services markets. I love the variety that these sectors have given me over the years, working with some amazing clients, helping both customers and candidates to find the role that they really want, its simple really, but I gain so much satisfaction from changing people’s lives.

Technical Support Advisor

£18000 - £20000 per annum

An exciting opportunity for an Technical Support Advisor to provide support to Dealers. The successful Technical Support Advisor will have excellent communication, problem solving skills and the ability to look at and interpret data (Excel). Previous experience of providing 1st Line or Service Desk Support would be ideal but full training will be given and there is scope to grow within the role.

Technical Support Advisor Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Strong communication skills, telephone, written and presentation
  • MS Office and good Excel skills
  • Strong telephone skills/experience with a good customer care philosophy
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Respond to customer requests for products and services
  • Monitor key business service levels, report back and make recommendations for improvement
  • Database maintenance and management, ensuring all key business contacts are uploaded in to the data base and records maintained in terms of changes to contact details etc.
  • Ensure the security of the data, produce reports for marketing initiatives or adhoc as required.

Full training will be given to the successful Technical Support Advisor and once completed you will join the shift rota which is a great one to be on. Solution Delivery Manager - CRM

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Solution Delivery Manager - CRM to join an established and growing organisation. As the successful Solution Delivery Manager you will have a broad range of IT and consulting experience, with deep functional knowledge of a tier 1 CRM solution such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce, or ideally SugarCRM and project management methodology.

The Solution Delivery Manager (CRM) role requires excellent customer-facing and outstanding relationship management skills and involve managing the demands of multiple projects simultaneously.

CRM Solution Delivery Managers Responsibilities & Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of a Tier 1 CRM solution, ideally Sugar CRM (SugarCRM accreditation, either Administrator or Solution Architect would be advantageous)
  • Provide the functional and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery through delegation, communication and cross-departmental and divisional coordination
  • Ability to challenge customers to drive a best practice approach to CRM implementations
  • Consultancy experience, including team leadership and involvement in selling professional services
  • Ability to think strategically and turn business objectives into technical solutions
  • Experience of working with all levels of client and project stakeholders up to and including board level
  • Project owner and accountable for successful delivery of the project, establishing what the customer views as a successful project and managing to those expectations

The CRM Solution Delivery Manager will be required to travel to cover a national territory.

Environmental Scientist - (Land Contamination)

£22000 - £29000 per annum

An Environmental Scientist will be responsible for the management of a number of oil pollution and contaminated land projects and undertake all aspects of fieldwork in accordance with Quality System / SOPs, as necessary, including the gathering of all necessary data for site investigations. The Environmental Scientist will conduct field surveys, collect data about levels of contamination on a site and carry out desk based research, interpreting data

Environmental Scientists (Land Contamination) Responsibilities & Experience

  • Have a science based degree along with at least 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • Be an associate/member of appropriate professional body, maintaining necessary CPD requirements for chartership.
  • Be able to identify, analyse and interpret problems effectively and determine appropriate action for their solution based on sound judgement.
  • Ensure work quantity is timely, efficient and consistent with established company standards, maintaining high utilisation and billable time, keeping peers and managers informed of availability.
  • Originate and develop the most cost efficient and effective solution, based on resources.

The successful Environmental Scientist will hold a valid UK driving licence.

Infrastructure Developer

£25000 - £30000 per annum

An experienced Infrastructure Developer is required to support networking and database administration on Windows and Linux systems. Helping to move the cloud hosted setup forward the successful Infrastructure Developer will work with internal teams and external clients in the full IT product lifecycle including development, deployment, support and monitoring.

Infrastructure Developers Experience & Responsibilities:

    • Provide third line support for operating systems and external software systems including Windows, SQL Server, Linux, Oracle and MariaDB
    • Proven experience in technical support, infrastructure or DevOps roles
    • Develop systems and processes to automate deployment
    • Strong background in command line usage and scripting, especially Linux, PowerShell and Python.
    • Experience of configuration management tools e.g. Saltstack, Chef, Puppet and Ansible
    • Experience with source control systems, especially Git
    • Experience building scripted solutions for automation purposes
    • Experience with AWS or competing cloud services, particularly deployment tools such as Terraform and Cloudformation
    • Work within the Product Infrastructure team to develop deployment processes and infrastructure
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform research, investigation and testing

The role of Infrastructure Developer involves out of hours rota, on-call support and occasional travel to client sites within the UK may also be required.

IT Service Desk / Field Engineer

An exciting opportunity for an IT Service Desk / Field Engineer with experience delivering 1st and 2nd line support on a service desk and looking to increase your responsibility or seeking a more varied role involving onsite work alongside service desk responsibilities.

The successful IT Service Desk / Field Engineer will be office-based service desk (60%) and (40%) field based on-site. Possessing excellent people and communication skills, and the confidence to offer professional IT support over the phone and face to face. Previous experience of working for an MSP would be beneficial but not essential.

  • User based IT support both remote & on-site
  • Management of server technologies
  • Windows operating systems (Win7/10)
  • Server operating systems & technologies (Exchange & Active Directory)

QA Architect

An exciting opportunity for an experienced QA Architect is required to join an established global company and be responsible for managing the QA team's activities, have knowledge of both mobile and offline products and any exposure to mobile games products. As the QA Architect you will be responsible for identifying process improvements across QA teams and ensure that the methodology delivers robust process to drive quality through development process.

The successful QA Architect will have a strong background in automation testing and have previously implemented automation testing within a large organisation and assess new test management tools for the business needs.

QA Architect Experience & Responsibilities

  • Assess and implement test automation to support mobile games testing
  • Responsible for creating and communicating the test strategy to development teams and ensuring the test methods are implemented consistently across teams
  • Responsible for defining the role of QA and the responsibilities across the function
  • Providing clear guidance and support to QA resources
  • Responsible for improving the delivery quality of mobile/retail game deliveries into system test
  • Development / QA process improvement (test case management, efficiencies, tool identification and requirements).
  • Mentor and manage the QA test team
  • Have strong organisational and management skills
  • An excellent communicator with both written and verbal skills
