Injection Moulding Setter

OT, Healthcare, bonus

This well-established and successful moulding business is currently seeking experienced Mouldshop Shift Setters who can help them achieve the company's business goals, exceed their customer's expectations and move forward their ability to meet technical challenges.

As Injection Moulding Setter your duties will include -

  • Performing Mould Tool changes effectively and safely on machines ranging from 25T-1700T
  • Setting Injection Moulding Machines to produce components, working closely with the Quality department to ensure the quality standard of production is within specification
  • Programming robots to efficiently de-mould and deposit mouldings, sprues and runners
  • Minimise the occurrence of waste within the production environment
  • Provide suggestions for the updating of production setting documentation to reflect up to date processing information
  • Actively engaging with 5S programs and continuous improvement projects
  • Provide feedback to the Technical team highlighting continuous improvement opportunities

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal candidate will have;

  • Significant experience of working in an Injection Moulding Setting role
  • Thorough knowledge of tooling, machines, ancillaries and processing of a wide range of materials
  • A good understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Based in the Oakham area, this role is commutable from Leicester, Peterborough, Grantham and Corby.

On offer -

Basic salary will be in the range of £26,000 - £28,300 depending on the candidate, with the possibility of overtime. The wider package includes non-contributory pension, private healthcare, childcare voucher scheme and profit share bonus.

Maintenance Engineer - Days

Days based role, Mon-Fri, with early finish Fri

Established over 50 years ago this specialist manufacturing company, a trusted partner to some of the world's most recognised and successful brands across a range of industries, is currently seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their team.

The role would ideally suit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer who has a strong background from an Injection Moulding background who is looking for the next step in their career where they can make a significant impact in a growing successful business.

As Maintenance Engineer your duties will include -

  • Perform essential reactive and ppm maintenance, improvements & rectifications on rubber & plastic processing machinery/ancillaries to minimise production downtime, escalating details of breakdowns, solutions, timescales & costs.
  • liaise with production department to remedy any breakdowns or production problems.
  • Documentation of maintenance tasks and issues, identifying route cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues.
  • Interdepartmental liaison to continually review & improve the process, products & tooling.
  • Assisting in the introduction of new plant and equipment.


To be successful in this role the ideal Candidate will -

  • Hold a similar job title such as Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, etc
  • Be educated to City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent.
  • Have strong Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge within a manufacturing environment
  • Preferably have experience within plastics processing such as Blow moulding, extrusion or injection moulding

Based near Northampton, this role is easily commutable from Corby, Milton Keynes, and Market Harborourgh

On offer -
A salary of up to £35k. Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-1pm Fri

Injection Moulding Toolmaker

This leading manufacturer of plastics is currently seeking an Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join their team working on a days basis Monday -Friday

Working within a busy tool room, your duties as Toolmaker will include

  • Making technically complex tools (up to c500kgs) and inserts from hardened steel
  • Repair and maintenance of tools


To be successful in this role of Injection Moulding Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will -

  • Have experience as an Injection mould toolmaker
  • Have experience with CNC machining
  • Be experienced with CADCAM

Injection Moulding Setter

£28000 - £32000 per annum Benefits


This well-established plastics products manufacturer is currently seeking a Injection Moulding Technician working Monday-Friday days.


Working within a large but clean mouldshop, your duties will include -

  • Changing tools
  • Condition setting machines
  • Trouble shooting any moulding or process issues
  • Process optimisation

To be eligible for the role of Injection Moulding Setter Tech, the ideal Candidate -

  • Must have a significant amount of experience in Injection Moulding
  • Will ideally have training from an industry recognised body
  • Must be able to tool change, condition set, and trouble shoot.
  • Ideally will have worked with a range of machines including Krauss Maffei and Fanuc, and have an appreciation of robots.

Quality Engineer

This well-established global manufacturing company is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team

As Quality Engineer your responsibilities will include -

  • Representing Quality in product development teams/projects. Working with other Quality Engineers or the QA Manager to develop & execute plans (quality plan, risk management plan) and requirements to ensure provisions for quality are addressed and resolved prior to release
  • Working closely with Product Development, and Quality to develop appropriate verifications, validations and qualifications (subcontractors, system and subsystem), for both new design and changes to released product
  • Participating in the review and disposition nonconformities and to work with Supplier to coordinate supplier corrective actions
  • Providing validation support by applying manufacturing quality tools including, but not limited to: DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, process verification/validation plans, process data
  • Leading and/or Participating in complaint investigations, failure analysis of returned products, and issues resulting in a ship/stop production; document findings, provide reports and analysis
  • Internal and External Auditing in line with ISO9001

To be successful in this role the ideal Candidate will -

  • Have previous experience within Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • Be able to read and understand technical drawings
  • Have an understanding of product testing methods

Based near Peacehaven this role is commutable from Brighton, Burgess Hill, Uckfield, and Eastbourne.

Quality Control Technician

£18000 - £21000 per annum

This well-established global manufacturing company is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team

As Quality Control Technician, your duties will include -

  • Support the production team in the day to day operation of the mould shop, and automated production plan ensuring tasks are completed within allocated timescale and that work is planned to the best utilise capacity
  • To maintain and develop quality systems throughout the factory operations ensuring that the highest standards of product quality are maintained
  • Regularly update the QC Team Leader on pending actions, completed project or any quality related production issues
  • Review and perform RCA on suspect parts
  • Report on processes that are proven to be troublesome or unproductive
  • Conduct ISIR on components as requested by QC Team Leader
  • Day to day production verification tasks including life testing and wall testing following documented procedures
  • Conduct goods inwards inspection as required
  • Coordination of goods inwards inspection (IQC)

To be successful in the role of Quality Control Technician -

  • It is likely that you will already hold the job title of Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, Patrol Inspector, or similar.
  • Have experience within an inspection role
  • Have knowledge of knowledge of Quality/product testing methods
  • Have experience of working in a quality department or test lab environment
  • Be experienced in ISO 9001 and Quality Systems in general
  • Have worked with inspection measuring equipment
