Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)

£23000 - £25000 per annum Company Van, Overtime

I am currently working with a market leading company in the supply of heavy duty workshop solutions. This company supply heavy duty vehicle lifting machinery and brake testing systems, due to currently undergoing a substantial period of growth they are seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the Reaing, Oxford, Milton Keynes and Hemel Hempstead areas.

The Field Service Engineer will travel to different sites on a day to day basis carrying out maintenance, installations, servicing and repairs on heavy duty vehicle lifts used in the bus, truck and coach industries.

As Field Service Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out preventative maintenance, testing and inspections on heavy duty vehicle lifts.
  • Reactive maintenance and repairs on heavy duty vehicle lifting systems.
  • Travelling to customer sites on a day to day basis ensuring their needs are catered for to a high standard.
  • Giving aftersales support and advice based on the client's needs.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Hands-on experience working in a mechanical service/maintenance type role.
  • Experience working in a workshop/garage environment.
  • Experience working on motor vehicles and or heavy duty vehicles.
  • A full, clean UK driving license.

Maintenance Engineer(injection moulding)

£30000 - £34000 per annum

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This global market leading plastics manufacturer established over 25 years ago, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support their manufacturing facility.

Double-day shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00)

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

  • Carrying out and recording planned and preventative maintenance (PPM's) on a wide range of manufacturing and plant machinery.
  • Attending breakdowns on injection moulding machinery, robotics and a range of ancillary equipment.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical machinery as well as hydraulic and pneumatic powered systems.

The successful candidate the will possess the following:

  • Experience maintaining, servicing or repairing injection moulding machinery within a plastic manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical knowledge including working with PLC systems.
  • Hands on experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic powered systems.
  • Knowledge on working with robotics.
  • Hold a recognisable engineering qualification e.g. HNC - Electrical Engineering.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

£30000 - £35000 per annum Overtime Available

I am currently working with a global market leader in the automotive sector who are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a permanent night shift basis. The company I am working with are a lead supplier for electrical and electronic systems into the automotive sector and are seeking electrically bias Maintenance Engineer to support manufacturing and their rapid growth.

The Maintenance Engineer will be required to carry out electrical implement and carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing machinery. The Engineer must ensure all plant breakdowns are recorded and analysed as well as participate in project works to enhance business performance.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Experience in a Maintenance Engineer/Technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with Siemens S7 PLC systems.
  • 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Experienced operating or maintaining ABB robotics.
  • Solid experience carrying electrical servicing and maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  • Mechanically competent.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of around £35,000 & great career progression opportunities are on offer at the market leading company as well! There is overtime available at time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays as well.

As stated this position is a permanent night shift role working a 4 day week, please see shift pattern below:

Mon - 8:15pm to 06:30am, Tues - 8:45pm to 06:30am, Weds - 8:45 to 06:30, Thurs - 8:45pm to 06:30am.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

£35000 - £37000 per annum

This award winning manufacturer supplying to some of the worlds leading brands is seeking an electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to join their team working on a continental shift basis.

As Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

- Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of manufacturing machinery including PLC systems.

- Fault finding and repairs on electrical and mechanical machinery as well as hydraulic and pneumatic powered systems.

- Carrying out planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and project works on manufacturing machinery.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will possess the following:

- Experience in a maintenance/service type role within a manufacturing environment.

- Have an electrical bias but also have exposure to mechanical maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics.

- Experienced fault finding on PLC systems.

On Offer -

£37k per annum overtime, healthcare and performance related bonuses.

Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotating shifts of days and nights.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

I am currently working with a global market leader in the automotive sector, this rapidly growing business design, manufacture and supply new solutions and electronic technologies for various types of vehicles. The company I am working with have over 20,000 employees and have over 20 manufacturing facilities worldwide!

Due to growth this company are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimal and efficiency is maximised. They will be required to carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs and modifications on plant machinery as required.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Experienced carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and modifications within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • HNC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification.
  • Hands on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure when needed.

Field Service Engineer

I am currently working with a global market leader in the design, build and supply agricultural machinery of the successful business have been established for over 40 years and now have a large client base worldwide!

This growing business are seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the Shropshire area to come in and carry out which will machinery installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance. The Service Engineer will work from home and attend machinery breakdowns at customer sites on a national basis as well as keeping up with customers planned maintenance schedules.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Experienced carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, servicing and installation within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Decent knowledge carrying out fault finding on PLC systems.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Mechanical experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
  • Experienced working in a field based, customer facing position.
  • Full & clean driving license.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of around £30,000 with a company van included. The Engineer will be paid for all travel as well as full expenses when occasionally staying away. In terms of overtime, there is plenty available at competitive rates and the successful company are offering career progression for the right candidate!
