I have recently joined ASC having worked in recruitment for the last 6 years and I’m really looking forward to developing our Business Support function even further and supporting a variety of candidates and clients with their job search and recruitment needs.

Sales Coordinator

£20000 - £25000 per annum

We are working exclusively with a Manufacturing firm who are a world leader in their field of expertise and who are looking to bring in a Sales Coordinator to join their team on a Permanent basis.

Supporting the Senior Management team, you will be providing essential administrative support whilst also having the opportunity to liaise with customers in the UK and overseas in regards to their orders/specifications.

Responsibilities will include:

-Assisting with the planning and preparation of budget sheets

-Looking after key travel documents e.g. flights, visas, overseas accommodation etc

-Typing monthly reports

-Obtaining quotes and raising purchase orders

-Providing customers with technical advice

-Supporting senior management with general administrative tasks

-Minute taking in meetings

-Arranging logistics when sending equipment to customers and exhibitions

-Using and being computer literate in Word, Excel and Outlook

This is a great opportunity for an individual who is experienced in Administration/Sales Coordination to join a welcoming team where you will be able to support a number of managers and also get involved in the customer service side of the sales that are being made.

Business Development Manager

£30000 - £40000 per annum company car/car allowance

We have partnered with a designer and manufacturer of high precision components used in many industries, including Electronics, Off-Shore, Automotive, Pharmaceutical and Telecommunications. We're seeking an experienced Home-Based Business Development Manager who can cover the Midlands, and Southern regions of the UK.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing existing accounts that have been brought on over the last 70 years of trading, as well as developing your own new business. You will follow up on self-generated leads as well as ones passed to you by the internal sales team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop marketing campaigns and devise strategies for increased sales and development
  • Monitor customer sales activity and report trends
  • Provide customers with technical support
  • Attend regular sales meetings to report on; strategy, market forces, leads and results

To be successful in this role you will have previous Business Development and Sales experience from an Engineering/Manufacturing background. You will be happy managing a large area where you will be granted the autonomy you need to maintain and improve an already established, well known European brand.

Business Development Manager

£30000 - £40000 per annum company car/car allowance

We have partnered with a leader within their field of Manufacturing who are looking to bring in a home-based Business Development Manager to join their long standing team covering the South of the UK. They have been running for 70 years and have a solid client base that the new BDM will be coming in to develop and maintain whilst also developing new business.

This is a brilliant position for someone to join an established team and be responsible for their own lead generation and subsequent sales for a company that are very well known within their market, whilst having the flexibility to work from their own home.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and following leads that have been sourced to create sales but also focusing on current and past clients and looking how they can be developed even further
  • Building and maintaining a client base
  • Putting together marketing campaigns to target clients and attending trade exhibitions to generate leads and sales
  • Providing technical support to customers
  • Taking part in regular sales meetings to report leads & results, strategy etc

To be successful in this role you will have previous Business Development and Sales experience from an Engineering/Manufacturing background and will be happy to look after a large area where you will have the freedom to produce your own leads to follow and generate sales through your own marketing and strategic approaches.

This position is home-based and is looking after the South of the UK (Midlands and below). You will have the choice of either a company car or car allowance and will be expected to visit two of the companies offices approximately once every six weeks.

Sales Manager

We have partnered with a growing business in the UK who are a sales/service partner for an injection moulding machinery manufacturer. This is a very exciting time for a Sales Manager to join a growing company whose success in the last year has meant that they are needing somebody to join their current Sales Manager in Northern England/Scotland to develop the area further.

This is a Permanent, home based position where you will have the freedom to manage your own diary and also be provided with plenty of warm leads to help ensure success.

Responsibilities will include:

-Keeping internal databases up to date with customer information/data

-Making sales calls to current and prospective customers

-Travelling to meet potential customers

-Providing a consultative sales approach with individual presentations

-Preparing quotes for customers

-Being aware of industry developments and potential opportunities
