Responsibilities for the service engineer include -
They have over 15 trained technicians across the UK, along with 2 technical support staff at the end of the phone for troubleshooting support.
Product training provided, along with job shadowing with engineers in the team
We would love to hear from suitable candidates with the following skills and experience
- Previous experience as a CNC service engineer, or service technician
- Confidence with either electrical or mechanical breakdowns of machinery
- Experience working with either FANUC or Siemens controls
- Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking and equipment inspections
- Willingness to travel nationally, and be prepared to stay overnight if required
- Clean driving license
No call out is required with this role, weekend overtime has to be pre-authorized by both client and head office before being offered out to the team.

Responsibilities for the service engineer include -

To be successful in this role you will have -
- Previous experience as a field service engineer working for a similar OEM of CNC cutting machinery
- Multi skilled both mechanically and electrically, along with electrical training ideally to city & guilds or equivalent.
- Confidence with carrying out repairs to HMI screens, SCADA, linear encoders, and power supplies
- Have a solid understanding of PLC's to fault find on inputs and outputs
- Understanding of area networks, Ethernet, Ethercat and Profinet
- Willingness to travel nationally, as well as travelling overseas occasionally for training at the head office
- Full clean drivers license
