This successful manufacturing company is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to take on responsibility for mechanical maintenance of capital plant, equipment and site facilities. The main objective of the role is to ensure that all equipment, systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently, safely and provide good plant reliability.
As Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -
Reactive and planned maintenance of plant and machinery
Investigation of mechanical plant and machinery breakdowns, determining root cause and carrying out necessary repair work inclusive of obtaining spare parts as necessary.
Investigating failures in services, determine root cause and carry out necessary repair work inclusive of obtaining spare parts as necessary.
Installation of new equipment.
Ensuring all plant/machinery records are kept up to date.
Competently reading and using mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to diagnose faults.
To be successful in the role of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, the ideal Candidate -
Will require a minimum of HNC in an Engineering discipline and post apprenticeship experience in a production plant environment.
Must be able to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
Will have good verbal and written communication skills, and, good numerical and literacy skills.
Based on the outskirts of Leicester this role is commutable from Ashby, Nuneaton, Coventry, Rugby, Coalville, Loughborough and Market Harborough.
Candidates suitable for this role are likely to hold the job title Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Engineer or Service Engineer.

This trade moulding company with a friendly working environment is currently seeking and Injection Moulding Technician to join their team, working on a Days basis Mon-Fri. Benefits include 5% Pension contributions, 4x Life Ins, Private Medical Ins, and early finish Fri.
As Injection Moulding Technician, duties will include -
Carrying out process and tooling trials as well as supporting and training production personnel on the handover of new processes.
Ensure process capability for new processes and tooling are in line with feasibility specifications.
Advanced Trouble shooting and Process Optimisation.
We would love to receive applications of Candidates that meet the following criteria -
Anyone working in an Injection Moulding environment that holds the title Setter, Technician, or Process Engineer.
Can Tool trial and carry out process optimisation
Has experience with a range of materials.
Has good knowledge of moulding machines such as Arburg, Negri Bossi, Krauss Maffei, Demag, Boy, Engel, Sandretto, etc.
