Location: UK Based, commutable to London Bi-weekly
A huge construction project in East Anglia has a number of contractors supplying their services, with the main company needing Supply Chain professionals to ensure these contractors are engaged with at the right level and cost.
The Supply Chain Managers are needed on an initial 6 month contract to support Senior Supply Chain Managers; your main responsibilities are listed below:
The day to day management of Supply Chain Assistants under their control.
Providing support to the procurement process during the Procurement phase (pre-award).
Providing commercial management of contracts during the execution phase (post-award).
Providing commercial management for the delivery of contract final account agreements (close out).
Responsible for the delivery of the contract in accordance with governance requirements to meet Project and business objectives.
Professional development of self and people within the team.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of successful Supply Chain and Contract Management. You will need be experienced working within large construction based projects that involve private and public sector stakeholders at all levels.
