An Area Sales Manager is required for a hugely successful OEM of precision CNC machinery, providing metal-cutting solutions to the manufacturing industry. As the Area Sales Manager, your primary focus is the North West including Scotland, to increase market share in these territories, whilst continuing to develop the reputation and company brand values.
Salary is negotiable but there's a circa range of circa £42K DOE, monthly commission with the ability to earn an OTE of circa £75K per annum
Also on offer is a fully expensed company car and fuel card, credit card for expenses, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private pension, life assurance, laptop & phone for fully remote WFH.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for -
Experience in a technical sales role is essential with engineering experience and/or sale of capital equipment within the CNC machine tool industry, which would be a big advantage
You will need a genuine interest in the manufacturing industry across your territory, to understand who your target audience will be to aim our products at. Combining sales and customer service you will be the ultimate partner for your customers and ensure that you and the business are at the foremost of their minds.
Flexibility towards frequent travel to the territory you'd look after is essential, as well as frequent travel to the HQ in the UK for product launches, demos, and customer open house events.
Overall, the business has a fantastic infrastructure with support at varying levels including sales, applications, and project managers to give you every opportunity to sell technical solutions to end customers.

Due to continued growth throughout 2022 and into 2023, a routine service engineer is required for a hugely successful OEM of CNC laser cutting machinery.
The business is one of the largest and most established companies in the UK that specialize in the supply, installation, commission, and repair CNC laser and press brake machines. They also have the biggest team of field service engineers across the UK & Ireland, providing a comprehensive and reliable service to all of their customers.
There's a huge amount of training and development on offer in this role, including trips to Europe for product training, online E-training and module based courses to further develop skills/knowledge of the product range.

Responsibilities for the routine service engineer include -
The team includes a diverse range of multi skilled breakdown engineers, hotline support staff on the phone, plus a team routine engineers across the UK, all in strategic areas of the country too to provide full and comprehensive support.
All work is planned at least a week in advance, so you have full heads up on what the following week looks like
We would love to hear from you've previously worked in any of the following roles -
- Maintenance Engineer, Service Technician, Service Engineer, Apprentice Maintenance Fitter,
- Apprentice trained in mechanical, and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
- Good knowledge of fault finding, and mechanical repairs to production machinery
- Willingness to travel nationally, and to Ireland and be prepared to stay overnight if required
- Clean driving license
Standard working hours are 45 per week, no out of hours call outs are required, and no weekends unless pre-authorized in advance by the customer and management team.
The business are prepared to be as flexible and supportive as possible, overnight stays and extensive travel is ideally kept to a minimum, but the business requires someone who is prepared to do both when necessary. In return the company can be equally flexible when needing time off or working around other engagements.
