Responsibilities for the spare parts coordinator include -
Direct liaison with customers regarding spare parts requirements
Communicating effectively with various divisions internally, as well as suppliers externally in the UK & parts of Europe
Inventory control and maintenance
Authorizing and raising orders through the in house system
Ensuring timely delivery of parts to either engineers or directly to customers
Support the after sales engineering manager and hot desk to other areas when required
This role will provide challenges to understand the product line, the number of spares kept in stock and on order with European suppliers, so this role would suit someone from an engineering or manufacturing industry background We would love to hear from suitable candidates with the following skills and experience
- Previous experience as a spare part coordinator or inventory controller - Excellent communication skills to liaise with departments internally and externally - Confidence with managing a spares list of over 1000 parts - Excellent numeracy and PC literacy skills, using Microsoft packages and email - Flexibility towards supporting other areas of the after sales team as required
