We are currently recruiting production operatives for a renowned first tier manufacturer of automotive parts sold globally near the RICOH ARENA IN COVENTRY.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a manufacturing business and be willing to work rotational day shift and/or nights. You should have at least 1 year experience in production or manufacturing.

• A Counterbalance licence is desired for this role.

Your main duties will include:

• Operating various production machines
• Ensure machines run smoothly and products meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot any problems and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
• Flag any issues you can't fix to the maintenance team
• Quality inspect parts

2 Rotating shift (one week of each)

• 06:00 until 14:00 - £11ph
• 14:00 until 22:00 - £12.51ph

OR NIGHT SHIFT

• 22:00 until 06:00 - £12.91ph

(2 weeks of training on days is required before moving to nights)

Please be aware if offered a contract, you may be required to work 3 shifts (AM, PM & NIGHTS)

• Anything over 40 hrs in the week paid @ x1.5
• Saturdays paid @ x1.5
• Sundays paid @ x2.0

Head of Operations

As the Head of Operations for this technology-based business you will lead a cross functional team to deliver a high-class service to its customer base within the UK and across the globe. Key Responsibilities ad their Head of Operations

• Enable to the business to deliver a first-class service by ensuring that the operation has the right processes, procedures, environment, and expertise in place. This will include the use of all technologies available.
• Devise and implement a platform and strategy that enables the UK business to be replicated at key locations globally.
• Being part of the senior leadership team, you will be instrumental in the opening and management of new global operations.
• Build relationships and lead the development of new partners, such as 3^rd party businesses to assist on the running of new global operations.
• Build, develop and lead the people within your team, empowering each of them to excel, in turn delivering the highest standards of work.

This leading manufacturer of products to the FMCG industry is currently looking for an Injection Moulding Process Setter Technician to join their team on a continental shift basis.

Your role will be to assist in the safe, effective and efficient running of site machinery, ensuring good quality product and minimum spoilage.

As Setter Technician your duties will include-

• Coordinating the timely and efficient change-over of production lines from one item to the next, including mould changes, colour changes, plate / cavity changes, assembly / liner changes.
• By continued observation, locate and rectify line blockages and machine stoppages.
• Coordinate the rectification of machine breakdowns / stoppages to ensure ongoing production (this may include site call-out's while not on shift for urgent production issues).
• Assist in the development of a planned maintenance programme
• Identifying and analysing faults causing machine stoppages or under performance, and making repairs/improvements
• Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement projects.
• Action improvements to the performance of injection moulding and assembly machine on an ongoing basis, with a view to increasing output, improving quality and reducing spoilage.
• Monitor and take action on Line Efficiency reports to improve overall factory outputs

For the role of Setter Technician, the ideal candidate will have the following experience -

• Knowledge of injection moulding processes, techniques and implementation
• Experience of working in a similar injection moulding environment

Based near Bedford, this role is commutable from Luton, Aylesbury, Northampton, Hemel Hempstead, Buckingham, and Stevenage.

• Shift: Continental 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on 3 off (every second weekend off)
• Hours: 08:00am - 20:00pm
