An exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager (Customer Services) to support the interface to NPI and Man Engineering for all field quality issue escalations and ensure customer focus in the prioritisation of product improvements. If you have an understanding of scientific instrumentation, quality, service and strong documentation skills then this could be the role for you.

As the successful Customer Services Technical Manager you will develop career paths for the technical team members and have in-depth experience in customer services management with substantial experience in managing teams. This role is to work within a fast paced environment so you will need the ability and flexibility to react to changing priorities.

Technical Manager's Responsibilities & Experience:

* Manage and contribute to all activities that are necessary to introduce and launch a new product into the market
* Ensure the management of phasing in and phasing out of instruments in the product portfolio,
* Ensure that performance improvement programs are developed, issued, tracked and reported, by using the project standards and reports, as required for improving customer recommended choice (NPS).
* Working alongside the European Helpdesk Manager, controls the engineer schedules to ensure contribution to the helpdesk/ training/ NPI/Production and International Field Support processes.
* Solid track record of improving processes.
* Possess Lean Six Sigma skills and knowledge.
* Ability to drive Quality Meetings when required
* Have a HNC/HND in Engineering, or scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
