Job Description

Position Title: Sales Administrator

Department: Sales

Title of Immediate Supervisor: Sales Manager

Purpose of Job: Quoting tubular manipulation and fabrication parts. Creating BOM's and Routings. Managing Engineering changes and New Products.

Core duties:

* Creating Bills of Materials and Routings for tubular manipulation parts on the EFACs System.
* Using measured and estimated timings to generate an accurate costing.
* Liaise with the Tube Technical Manager and Sales Team to generate quotations on the EFACs System.
* Ensure customer requests are fully understood and resolved in line with both customer's expectations and business requirements.
* Be proactive at all times in promoting hydraPower and resolving customer queries both efficiently and effectively;
* Generating customer and stock part numbers;
* Assist and be able to provide cover for the scheduler in entering customer requirements on to the system;
* Enter customer information and correspondence onto the CRM system;
* Assist in sending out enquiries to suppliers to obtain costs for material or services.
* Any other adhoc duties as and when required

* To follow departmental systems, processes and procedures;




Qualifications Education Knowledge

Analytical and numeracy skills

Knowledge of Commercial and quality procedures

Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 and TS16949

Knowledge of engineering practices






Experience of administration work in an office environment to include working knowledge of Microsoft office applications which include word processing and excel.

Compiling databases for/and cost analysis

Experience in manufacturing environment





Able to follow procedures

Follow queries and action through to completion

Excellent communication skills via, telephone, email, fax etc.

Ability to handle calls from internal and external customers in a professional manner and to pass on information accurately and appropriately.

Excellent team player and ability to liaise with individuals at all levels.

Able to work on own initiative and make changes where necessary;

A proactive and hands on approach to work and will want to be involved at all levels of operation









Able to offer flexibility on working hours as necessary.
