ASC Connections are recruiting for a Resource Consultant/ Account Manager to join a successful team based in Wolverhampton

The office is centrally located in the Wolverhampton town centre and is in an ideal location for all public transport routes

The main focus of the office is the recruitment of manufacturing and engineering candidates for new and existing clients based in the West Midlands area. The team largely focus on the temporary and contract market however they do also cover permanent recruitment too. You will need to be someone who is professional, well presented, enthusiastic and committed

This is not a cold desk! The successful candidate will be joining an established recruitment team with over 15 years combined knowledge of the area and local market

Each day is different in recruitment but a typical day would involve:



* Sourcing candidates via online job boards, advertisements and using the existing candidate database
* Calling candidates via telephone, assessing their suitability and booking them in to interview
* Interviewing candidates face to face, recording work history and fact checking
* Reference taking and chasing with companies
* Arranging interviews for candidates with clients
* Payroll and administration of an existing temp plan including timesheet submission and handling wage queries
* Lead generation and CV stripping; taking potential job leads from candidates and their CV's
* Formatting CV's to be sent to a client in a professional manner
* Liaising with existing clients including attending on site meetings and service reviews
* Progression to trainee consultant will involve sales calls to potential clients, taking job bookings and converting jobs from leads generated



A competitive basic salary of £18,000 - £20,000 negotiable based on experience is on offer for the successful candidate

* Ability to work under pressure adhering to deadlines
* IT proficient with a basic knowledge of Microsoft packages. Training will be provided on job specific software
* Confident and organised
* Previous recruitment experience would be ideal but not essential
