A leading Automotive component manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager to join their team.

Purpose of Role:

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for leading all Quality Assurance activities & functions in compliance with IATF16949 & internal Quality requirements.

You will develop both existing & new customer relations, support strategic planning and deployment initiatives and develop measurement systems to determine organizational improvement.

Have overall responsibility for ensuring the successful delivery of products on time, to enable growth plans of the business to be met.

Skills / Experience:

* Background in an Automotive OEM / Tier 1 environment
* Man management in a busy fast paced environment to include performance management
* IATF 16949 Quality Systems
* Six Sigma methodology
* Project Management
* PFMEA, Control Plans, Flow Charts, 8D
* Customer / Supplier Management & Development


* Develop and improve QMS to meet the requirements of IATF16949
* Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications
* Implement and update QA procedures
* Develop Customer relationships through regular visits and timely resolution of complaints.
* Work with both internal & external customers to anticipate & address issues before they occur
* Contribute information to produce strategic plans and reviews
* Prepare and complete action plans
* Identify and resolve problems
* Undertake audits
* Determine system improvements
* Implement change
* Support New Product Launch - preparation of new part samples
* Produce PPAP documentation including Control Plans, Process Quality Requirements, Product layouts and Calibration requirements.
* Manage departmental budgets
* Develop QA plans to improve repeatability
* Reduce cost of Non-Conformance
* Conduct risk assessments
* Improve product quality by leveraging Continual Improvement Framework
* Investigate customer complaints using 8D methodology
* Work with management, develop new product & engineering designs
* Prepare quality documentation reports highlighting failed processes, warranty complaints, corrective actions & re-validations.
