A leading global automotive company are currently seeking an experienced Pricing Manager to join the business. You will ideally have worked in a Pricing role before, preferably within a large organisation and have some experience of managing others. You will be liaising closely with the Sales Team to ensure competitive pricing is maintained against customer demand. The company offer a competitive basic salary which offers a bonus, private healthcare, a contributory pension and free parking. The client are an established business who are well respected in their industry.

The Role: As Pricing Manager you will be expected to: -

* Implement, manage and control company's pricing policies based on the guidance of the Cluster Pricing Manager and Regional Pricing team.
* Define price/discounts levels, manage local waterfall, devise campaigns, price control (reporting and pricing analysis), workflow approvals, price exceptions management and audits.
* Preparation of Summer/ Winter pricing lists for approval
* Responsible for competitor's benchmarks and analysis for both Sell In and Sell Out.
* Leads the local pricing team (3 associates).
* Builds and retains pricing expertise and talent in the UK Pricing Team.
* Acts as a business partner to the local management team pro-actively looking for business opportunities in Pricing and Revenue Management.
* Challenges the Sales Team to leverage more "non price" components of the value proposition.

To be successful in the role you will have:

* Degree or equivalent in Business related subject
* Previous experience in pricing related role
* Minimum 5 years commercial experience in relevant business area
* Strong blend of strategic & tactical acumen
* Experience of dealing with external & internal customers
* Advanced I.T. skills - Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, ERP systems
