A Junior Contracts Manager position has just become available for a well-established Engineering business, located near the Coventry area. This well regarded business will be paying a starting salary of £25,000 (negotiable), to the successful professional. This is an exciting position, for a professional looking to grow within a growing business.

Overview of the Junior Contracts Manager position -

* To help maintain and develop client relationships, resolving project issues as and when required.

Junior Contracts Manager duties include -

* Ensure that the appropriate documentation, specifications and technical drawings are approved by the customer.
* Ensure that Project folders are maintained efficiently.
* Ensure that all key communication is logged in the correct manner.
* Work closely with management on resource planning.
* Ensure design reviews are completed by Design Management and within the required time constraints.
* Attend Contract Reviews and submit relevant project reports.
* Work closely with clients, ensuring that issues are reviewed and dealt with in a professional manner.
* Submit the relevant documentation for Client approvals and handovers.
* Ensure that the Project team stay compliant with business Quality Management Systems.

Junior Contracts Manager desirable skills/experience/attributes -

* Experience working within a similar role - Contract Management, Project Controlling, Commercial Management etc
* Ideally have experience working within an Engineering business.
* Strong understanding of the project life-cycle.
* Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
* Customer facing management experience.
* Proactive work ethic and desire to be successful.
* Project Management training, or education desirable.
