IT Service Desk / Helpdesk Analyst is required to join my client a tier 1 automotive supplier to support their internal servers and networks. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leading manufacturing organisation.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

* Provide first level helpdesk support, log all calls using iET internal Helpdesk application; troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
* Provide and support all shop floor IT activities, including setting up of computers, printers, scanners desks and information points (iPoint).
* Logging both internal and external customers hardware, software and all IT issues
* Configuring and building computers and notebooks to standard using internal deployment software DSM.
* Set up or adjust workplace, including patching network cabling and installing docking stations.
* Administration of desktop computers, notebooks, printers/photocopiers and telephony (hardphone/softphone), issuing of hardware to users
* Administering and maintaining user accounts using windows AD and SAP
* Support mobile working users across a number of platforms, including iOS, Mobileron and SecOVID for remote access
* Supporting Microsoft Windows operating 7 & 10 systems and MS Office applications
* Manage data restore (from backup servers)
* Provide training to users on office tools
* IT Asset management (inventory update and disposing of obsolete hardware)
* Windows servers and Network administrations (only allowed to administrate local Cisco switches and Fujitsu servers, limited access allowed)

The ideal candidate will have:

* Good understanding of Windows 7/10 and MS Office 2010 & 2016 applications
* Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes
* Knowledge of Network and Telecommunications (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Cisco switches)
* CCNA part1 qualified preferable
* Knowledge of Windows 2008R2/2012R2 servers
* Knowledge of Excel and VBA
* .Net and power shell - Advantages
* Basic knowledge of firewall
