Supply Chain Analyst

A leading FMCG business is currently recruiting a Supply Chain Analyst to work from either of their operations based in Leeds or Leicester. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager you shall assist the business by controlling the inflow of stock from Suppliers and Wholesalers.

This is a Hybrid role based at home 3 days per week and 2 days from either site. The business offer an excellent overall benefits package including 25 days holiday, pension etc and a range of others including discounts and events.

As the Supply Chain Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with suppliers to ensure they have an accurate forecast to deliver products OTIF into the operations whilst maintaining stock levels.
  • Forecasting and Planning, all based around having an accurate plan in which to develop as robust flow of product from suppliers.
  • Deal with any supply issues, both with your suppliers and internal customers to ensure a satisfactory outcome whilst fulfilling customer orders.
  • Analyst stock and inventory levels in line with demand.

Skills and Experience required as the Supply Chain Analyst

  • Previous experience in a supply chain or inventory position where you manage the flow of inbound stock.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to use functions such as Formulas, VLOOKUP's and Pivot tables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to think on your feet to solve a variety of problems that can arise.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, pressurised environment.
