Head of Ecommerce

Are you experienced Ecommerce/Marketplace professional with experience of leading a team to deliver improved sales?

A fast-growing international online fashion and clothing outlet are adding some key figures to the business to enable the business to have the correct structure in place to not only cope but excel with the growth it is currently undergoing. One of these roles is this, a Head of Ecommerce/Marketplaces. Working closely with the Operations Director you will take responsibility for the Marketplaces team to deliver increased sales figures through increasing the number of sales channels the business operates in.

Responsibilities of the Head of Ecommerce:

  • Research and launch new sales channels for the business to enable growth and improved revenue.
  • Full leadership responsibility for a team of 8-10 people, leading their training and development.
  • Take on the responsibility of managing the end-to-end launch of all new sales channels.
  • Work with the existing sales channels to improve relationships and become the face to face of the business.

Experience Required to become their Head of Ecommerce

  • Familiar with online, Ecommerce and Marketplaces.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an online retailer.
  • A proven track record of managing a team of people.
  • Ability to manage projects.
  • Strong data and analytical skills as well as good overall IT skills
