A well established OEM of CNC machine tools, Additive and turnkey solutions is recruiting for an experienced Additive Manufacturing Sales Manager to join their expanding team.

With a reputation for exceptional quality and reliability, their machine tools and product solutions are globally recognised as a premium brand. They supply a wide variety of manufacturing sectors including MOD, Aviation, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Motorsport, and much more. There's a UK Headquarters where the machinery is showcased and demonstrated to it's customers, plus you'll be given all the tools and support needed to succeed in this role.

Benefits including an excellent base salary of £48 - £49K basic uncapped commission structure, company vehicle, mobile phone & laptop, 36 days holiday, private pension, healthcare, death in service and yearly salary reviews.

Responsibilities for the role include -

  • Managing the commercial relationship and development of both existing and new customers across the UK
  • Develop key customer relationships, together with attracting and building on these relationships to maximise sales growth
  • To continuously add value to the prototyping and lower-volume / bespoke solution requirements of the customer
  • Work with project managers on technical realization of part production by assisting with customer needs specifications
  • Develop solutions for new customers, using your strong problem-solving skills to identify needs and formulate technical solutions with our commercial service teams
  • Support the Sales Director in negotiations, ensuring that both the Operational needs and costs are met and that the customer needs and expectations are supported
  • Coordinate and chair meetings with customers, ensuring strong relationships are built
  • Ensure the delivery of financial KPI's in relation to volume, sales and profit, as well as forecasting
  • Provide input to commercial strategy programmes and innovation solutions, as well as budget planning in support of relevant projects and new business acquisition
  • To plan, attend and deliver demonstrations of equipment, support trade fairs and exhibitions throughout the year

To be successful in this role, the suitable candidate will have the following skills and experience -

  • Sales management experience within additive manufacturing / 3D printing
  • Strong negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Comfortable giving presentations
  • Networking, interpersonal, relationship building & stakeholder management skills
  • High levels of commercial awareness and an astute eye for identifying commercial opportunities.
  • Analytical and good with data; including, sales and marketing trends, benchmarking, joint business plans, and forecasting
  • Creative and strategic thinker, able to challenge established ways of doing things
