Job Description

A Oxfordshire based food company is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator.

Within this role you will support the commercial department and business by:

  • Managing the delivery and buying process of all services and goods.
  • Placement and delivery of purchase orders.
  • Constantly improve costings always strive to reduce the cost.
  • Help with any tasks that are required by the sales team.
  • Liaise regularly with both suppliers and internal departments, this will maintain all loyal long standing relationships.
  • Regularly work towards KPI'S.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator you must be the following:

  • Must have the ability to lead a team as well as work within a team environment.
  • Always have a high attention detail, as well as work to tight deadlines.
  • The Supply Chain Coordinator must be a strong communicator and highly organised.
  • Computer literate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator it would be an advantage if you have worked within a food company and have purchased ingredients, fresh, perishable products from suppliers both locally and globally.
