The company is a family business that has been established for over 60 years. ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 accredited, the company designs and manufactures products that are sold to over 50 countries worldwide.
As part of their continued growth, they now require a Group Purchasing & Operations Manager to join their management team.

As the Group Purchasing & Operations Manager, you will:

  • Develop, manage and optimise the purchasing supply chain across the group; consolidating the activities of the function across sites to support all of the manufacturing facilities purchasing needs.
  • Devise and implement the strategy for the materials management and purchasing function to achieve best in class service and inventory goals.
  • Develop procurement processes and build on current ERP framework to future proof business needs
  • Lead global and local purchasing - growing and strengthening key relationships with end-to-end supply chain partners across the business.
  • Lead key supplier negotiations and establish innovative ways to improve efficiencies and drive cost out in a price sensitive marketplace.

We would love to hear from you if you have had the following experience:

  • Working as a senior manager within a purchasing/procurement function.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing based ERP system.
  • Experience in international sourcing especially LCCS.
  • Extensive experience in managing supplier performance in a manufacturing environment.

  • Benefits: This job is paying up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and is a permanent position with excellent training. This job is commutable from most areas of West Sussex including Brighton and Eastbourne
