A CNC Press Brake Setter opportunity has just become available, within a well-established Engineering company located in Nottingham. Permanent role working rotating shifts of mornings and afternoons, paying up to £12 p/h plus shift allowance. Overtime available through the week and weekends too.

The company have been trading for decades and are well established in the aerospace and automotive industry. They have state of the art machinery to offer a one stop shop for all client's engineering needs. Low staff turnover business with an excellent reputation in the market for quality and value.

Duties for the role include -

* Setting and operating of various CNC Press Brakes within the sheet metal fabrication dept
* Working on 15ton and 20ton CNC Press brakes up to 2 metres wide
* Editing of programmes for new job setups
* Working from 2D and 3D drawings to interpret bends and folds
* Fabrication of stainless and mild steel sheets from 0.5 to 4mm thick
* Supporting operators with running press brakes when required

To be successful in this role

Previous experience with Setting and Operating CNC Press Brakes, either Trumpf or Amada
Understand 2D and 3D drawings
Strong background in sheet metal fabrication
Self motivated and be able to oversee operators within the department and provide guidance as necessary

Working hours are 2 shifts of -

Days Monday - Thursday 6.00am - 2.00pm, Friday 6.00am - 11.30am

Afternoons Monday - Thursday 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Friday 1.00pm - 6.30pm

Package on offer

Hourly rate of £10 - £12 p/h depending on experience
8% shift allowance on days, 12% shift allowance on afternoons
Overtime available in the week and weekends
31 days holiday including bank holidays

Opportunities of further training, the company are purchasing new machinery and CAD software, which will allow the programmers to gain further training and knowledge within the industry.
