We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our National Field Sales team, operating within the North East and Scotland. This role is a permanent contract for a Client Development Manager of Domestic within packaging.

Working within the existing field sales team you will be required to acquire, account manage and profitably develop new prospective clients buying services directly from the business. You will be required to be self-sufficient in respect of Sales Leads, drawing on experience gained from a strong and successful sales background in order to discover sales leads to feed your pipeline.

As the client's representative, you will champion service performance and customer satisfaction through a combination of general daily reporting and SLA based customer agreements. As the companies representative, you will understand the business dynamics of customers within their prospect portfolio, providing timely visibility of customer activity and decisions, recording these on the company CRM system and ensuring the business is driven to meet the wider needs of its customers. You may also be required to respond to RFP's and lead the response through contract negotiation and due diligence to successful implementation.



Essential Key Skills:  Self-starter with the ability to prioritise workload and apply time management skills  Ability to work with minimal supervision after agreeing objectives  Excellent communication skills covering presenting and listening  Consistent positive outlook and able to handle rejections  Evidence of working correctly within a sales process and selling a value proposition  Thrives in a high volume and results based environment  Good organisational skills  Quick learner who can apply concepts in the real world  Understanding of customer needs and a customer's perspective  Excellent numeracy and literacy skills  Experience in Microsoft standard packages  Working knowledge of CRM systems
