Quality Engineer

This well-established global manufacturing company is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team

As Quality Engineer your responsibilities will include -

  • Representing Quality in product development teams/projects. Working with other Quality Engineers and the QA Manager to develop & execute plans (quality plan, risk management plan) and requirements to ensure provisions for quality are addressed and resolved prior to release
  • Working closely with Product Development & Quality to develop appropriate verifications, validations and qualifications (subcontractors, system and subsystem) for both new design and changes to released product.
  • Participating in the review and disposition of non-conformities and to work with suppliers to coordinate supplier corrective actions
  • Providing validation support by applying manufacturing quality tools including DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, process verification/validation plans, process data
  • Leading and/or Participating in complaint investigations, failure analysis of returned products, and issues resulting in a ship/stop production; document findings, provide reports and analysis
  • Internal and External Auditing in line with ISO9001

To be successful in this role the ideal Candidate will -

  • Experienced Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • Be able to read and understand technical drawings
  • Have an understanding of product testing methods
