The business operates on an international scale, and is looking to take its expansion to the next level by striving to be a supplier of environmentally friendly packaging for a wide range of industries. They boast 3 sites nationally and have a range of product packaging lines, robots, traditional cutting machinery, printing and labelling lines, and various other bespoke equipment. This site employs around 60 staff and need someone who will maintain good efficiencies and high productivity levels.

Benefits include a salary of £35K, day shift working only, company pension scheme with up to 7% employer contributions, free parking and the chance to be involved in continuing best practice for site, play a pivotal role in steadying the growth of the business

Working hours are 40hrs per week and this will initially be on the day shift and there is some flexibility on working hours to suit you.

Responsibilities for the role include -

-Review Production, Warehouse efficiency and prioritise activities/projects
-You will work across Health & Safety, Production, and Warehouse/Despatch functions with the responsibility to help department managers to develop, drive, facilitate and implement robust plans to deliver sustainable improvement across the business achieving department KPI's.
-You will actively drive and cultivate, individually, and as part of the management team, a sustainable culture and methodology of continuous improvement In line with projects, develop relevant measurable benefits, track their delivery and report thereon.
-Work closely with department managers, employees to support change through transition as a result of process improvement to ensure sustainability

We would love to hear from you if you've had experience in the following -


-A proven, demonstrable record of delivering continuous, sustainable process improvement, meeting and exceeding strategic targets, across all aspects of operations. IT literate with business models and related software.
-Working within an environment where quality and customer service are key performance indicators.
-Strong leadership experience is essential as is excellent rapport building and communication skills.
-Manufacturing technology and techniques preferably within the packaging industry. (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 also BRC.
-Yellow or Green belt Six Sigma would be an advantage
-Value streams of processes and systems.
-Operational constraints and strategic priorities.
-Commercial and supply chain function and understanding of cross-functional alignment to all business areas.
