Job Description

IT support engineer focusing across 1st and 2nd line infrastructure support is required for my client and international specialist manufacturing business.

Support will be provided across 4 sites based in Warwick, Leicester, Redditch & Chesterfield, these sites will be visited weekly so you can be based officially at any of these locations that would be most convenient for you - due to the requirement to visit these locations, only candidates with their own vehicle will be considered.

Working closely with the lead support specialist you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of all IT equipment in line with company procedures and standards. Contribute and assist with the running of Business Systems in use throughout the company. Working with global teams and providing support for local and remote users.

Key functions will include but not be limited to the following:

  • IT Server & Network Support
  • Configuration & Installation
  • Maintenance
  • Administration

Technical experience required:

  • 1st / 2nd line support
  • PC, Server and Network management
  • Backup Administration
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Microsoft Windows XP/7/10
  • Microsoft Server 2008R2/2012/2016/2019/Hyper-V
  • Virtualise Infrastructure Environment
  • Microsoft Office Applications (Office Suite, PowerBI etc…)

This role would suit either a 2nd line support analyst or a 1st line analyst who is keen to progress.
