Job Description

The search is on to find a Maintenance Engineer for a leading family run brand, with a great tradition and the luxury of operating state of the art machinery, all whist earning a competitive market salary and first rate on site training.

They are looking to add to their existing team as the demand for new products is at an all-time high, and as a result this has presented the opportunity for a Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a rotating shift.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

  • Carrying out preventative maintenance by following PPM schedules
  • Responding to both Mechanical and Electrical breakdowns on all of the equipment.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure breakdowns and repairs are conducted efficiently and cost effectively.
  • Regular routine inspection and servicing of Machinery.
  • Striving for continuous improvement on all plant equipment to ensure they run at optimum levels.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements

  • Must hold recognised Engineering qualification, ideally in electrical but others would be considered
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer working on capital equipment.
  • PLC knowledge is highly advantageous
  • Flexibility towards working shift patterns
