Software Engineer

£38000 - £45000 per annum Flexible hours, training, on-site gym

Job Description

One of the UK's largest online bathroom retailers are looking for a software engineer to join their rapidly expanding IT department to meet the new demands of an ever-growing business. In this engineer position, you will be working on a number of different projects including upgrading current systems and developing software solutions.

The position offers highly flexible working hours, part working from home, funded training opportunities, and access to an on-site gym.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Working as an engineer on a variety of different projects
  • Designing, testing, and debugging of code
  • Working closely with the existing development team
  • Advancing pre-existing WHS, shipping, purchasing and operations applications

To be successful within the role you will have:

  • Strong experience in C#
  • Worked as an engineer previously in .Net languages
  • Proven communication skills
  • Commercial experience of APIs and their interaction with external software

We would be keen to speak to individuals who have:

  • Worked previously in databases programming, including SQL and MSSQL
  • NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API 2 experience
  • Strong time management skills

This role would be appropriate for anyone who has previous experience as a software developer, programmer, or software engineer, and lives within a commutable distance from Evesham.
