Job Description

We are currently recruiting for production operatives for a prestigious automotive manufacturer in the Moons Moat area of Redditch.

40 hours per week across 2 shifts (rotating) -

  • Week 1 - AM (6am until 2pm)
  • Week 2 - PM (2pm until 10pm)

Pay rate is £11.64 ph with OT

Your duties will include but will not limited to:

  • Work as part of a team to build production parts / assemblies.
  • Operate Production Line Equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment faults are reported to Operations Team Leader or Manufacturing Team Leader.
  • Carry out basic testing and quality checks.
  • Ensure work instructions are followed at all times to ensure 100% quality products.
  • Liaise with stores and quality team to maintain good quality parts supply to manufacturing area.
  • Ensuring work areas and machinery are cleaned and maintained.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Attention to detail - Essential
  • Previous factory/automotive experience - Essential
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Be able to work both independently and within a Team.
  • Automotive experience in assembly - Desirable
  • IT Literate to a good level
  • Ability to demonstrate a flexible working approach.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively (to meet Production Deadlines).
  • Methodical and organised.
  • Professional attitude.
  • Excellent time keeping.

After your initial screening, we will invite you in for a short mechanical test - if you are successful, you will be given a start date!

This is a temp to perm role, meaning the company will look to take you onto their books following a successful 13 weeks period.
