This leading plastics company that offers bespoke product design, tooling, manufacturing and logistics services to a range of industries such as aerospace, personal health and safety, military and medical is currently seeking a Quality & Compliance Engineer.

As Quality and Compliance Engineer, your duties will include -

* The management of the company's Health & Safety Requirements in line with relevant and future legislative criterion
* Proactive Management of the Engineering Change Process
* Ensuring all parts that leave the assembly, 2nd ops area have been inspected and conform to our first off/last off and product release criteria
* In House Calibration
* Ensuring resources are utilised in a safe and efficient manner to achieve full compliance with current and future legislation.
* Direct management of across site practices to maximise consistency in day to day practices
* Implementing agreed procedures to maintain and improve the company's H&S standards
* To produce parts and assemblies in accordance with written and verbal instructions in a timely manner and to required standards
* Undertake and use correct resources and procedures to ensure day to day QC Patrol requirements are completed

To be successful in the role of Quality & Compliance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -

* Have a good working knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO14001
* Have a good knowledge of H&S preferably with an IOSH qualification
* Be qualified to perform internal audits to both ISO:9001 & ISO:14001
* Have a working knowledge of PCDMIS or similar CMM program (operation only)
* Have strong effective decision making, organisational and time management skills along with a wide range of influencing skills and the ability to communicate with internal management and customers
* Be able to Interpret complex technical drawings
* Be able to perform in house calibration of measuring equipment
* Be able to work on their own initiative
* Able to competently use basic business software - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* Have an understanding of APQP, FMEA, control plans and 8D

To be suitable for this role it is highly the ideal Candidate will already hold the title of Quality Engineer, QESH Engineer, Quality Environmental Health and Safety Engineer, or Compliance Engineer.
