Quality Manager

To support continued growth, an established manufacturer of safety critical applications, is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking business which promotes training & development and further career progression.

You MUST be able to gain Security Clearance to be successful.

Purpose of Role:

The Quality Manager will lead on the management & improvement of all quality issues ensuring the business has robust quality management systems. You will develop & implement Continuous Improvement initiatives across the business.

You will make Supply Chain Improvements & undertake Supplier Audits.


* Experienced Quality Manager, leading a small team in a manufacturing environment
* Experience of Mechanical and/or Electronic Production & Assembly
* Auditing to ISO9001
* People Management / Leadership
* Experience of Lean Manufacturing
* Experience of designing & implementing programs for Continuous Improvement
* Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Standards and Systems
* IT Literate - Microsoft Office

Responsibilities Overview:

* Management of the Quality Department
* Analysis of Quality data and resolution of any complaints/concerns in a timely manner
* Head Quality meetings with senior staff and produce monthly reports
* Customer & Supplier Management
* Maintenance & improvement of the Quality Management System - currently ISO9001:2008

* Review, update & maintain internal QMS Audit Programme
* Assist BSI Assessor during assessments of Quality Management Systems &

provide corrective action plans where required.

* Generation of customer specific quality plans
* Enforce and champion standard processes for the delivery of high quality product and services to customers
