Job Description

A Quality Technician job opportunity has just become available, within a global supplier of a broad product range. Located in the Birmingham area, this business is looking for an Engineering professional that can work closely with both the Applications team and OEM customer base. Quality Technician duties include -

  • Review quality requirements on customer orders and quotations.
  • Review Material Specifications, liaising with laboratory based team.
  • Update and Maintain latest issue control of customer drawings.
  • Support the Application team with RFQ requests.
  • Help to provide process improvements within the Quality Management System.
  • Co-ordinate NPI and Quality Planning for new products and ongoing programmes.

Quality Technician desirable skills/experience/attributes -

  • Ability to understand technical drawings and customer specifications.
  • Confident with working within a fast paced commercial workspace.
  • An appreciation for QMS's such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100.
