Job Description

A progressive manufacturing organisation in power train and vehicle & component test systems, requires a Quality Inspector to join their expanding quality team.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will drive quality objectives while meeting customer requirements, taking a hands on approach to Quality Assurance.

Quality Inspector responsibilities -

  • Ensuring all aspects of the Quality Management System are compliant.
  • Conducting internal and external audits.
  • Provide technical support to purchasing, engineering and commercial departments.
  • Help to drive continuous improvement within the workplace and reduce scrap.
  • First point of contact for both customers and suppliers.
  • Actively promote and support that health & safety always comes first.

We'd love to hear from you if you have some of the following -

  • Experience working within a similar role (Quality Technician, Quality Engineer etc).
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and quality techniques.
  • Relevant mechanical/electrical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or training.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Excellent MS Office and MRP System skills.
