As part of their continuing expansion they have an opportunity for a CNC machinist to work within their modern manufacturing site in Nottingham. Working alongside a team of highly skilled engineers, you'll be given full autonomy over manufacturing precision parts from raw material, to finished article.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist include -
Ideal applicants for the CNC machinist role will have the following skills / experience
- Previous experience with either programming, or editing of pre-written CNC programmes
- Confident user of either HAAS or FANUC controlled Lathes
- Be able to machine high quality parts from one off to medium batch volume, in a range of hard and soft metals
- Have a strong stable working history within the manufacturing industry, and be able to provide references when required
Working hours are 39hrs per week on evening shifts from 4:15pm - 2:15am Monday to Wednesday, 4:15pm - 1:15am on Thursday.

Responsibilities for the service engineer include -
The business really promote a solid work / life balance too, their engineers work an average of 40hrs per week. If an engineer travels nationally or spends a night away from home, they bank any additional hours worked and take it off at the end of the week or into the following week.
Product training provided during the probationary period, from both job shadowing and from their technical support team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience and skills in -
- Previously a Service Engineer, Service Technician, or CNC Engineer
- Multi skilled in electrical and mechanical
- Strong working knowledge of EDM machinery
- Good knowledge of fault finding, electrical and mechanical repairs
- Willingness to travel nationally, and be prepared to stay overnight if required
- Clean driving license

Are you an experienced service engineer, looking to join a more organized machine tool service provider? Do you want to be paid door to door for all the hours you work? Do you need to earn over £55K a year OTE?
As the sole UK agent to a European brand, their CNC machine tools are globally recognized. They have a strong network of service engineers, along with 2 additional technical support staff who are office-based. They have a head office here in the UK for operations and storage.
This role will involve a lot of product training and investment from the company to bring you up to date with their full machine tool range. Once fully trained, this role would require someone flexible enough to work in the UK, Europe and sometimes worldwide depending on projects that are happening.
Responsibilities for the service engineer include -
Product training in Germany will be provided, along with job shadowing with engineers in the team
We would love to hear from suitable candidates with the following skills and experience
- Previous experience as a CNC service engineer, or service technician
- Confidence with either electrical or mechanical breakdowns of machinery
- Experience working with either FANUC or Siemens controls
- Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking and equipment inspections
- Willingness to travel in UK, Europe and worldwide, with extensive time away from home when necessary
- Clean driving license
Benefits include an excellent base salary of circa £41K depending on experience, salary review after successful probation, plus an OTE of £55K with overtime weekday / weekends, company vehicle with a choice of car or car allowance, meal allowances, mobile phone & laptop, 33 days holiday, death in service insurance, and a private pension
