A Continuous Improvement Engineer job opportunity has just become available, within a global and market-leading business. Responsibilities for the role include -

  • Analyse current processes on-site and drive new continuous improvement, to help ensure the required quality, time frames and costings/budgets are adhered to.
  • Analyse current processes using CI/lean tools, to improve overall performance Techniques to be used may include - statistical analysis, statistical process control, takt time, value stream mapping, 5S, SMED etc.
  • Train staff in Lean/Six Sigma/CI tool and techniques.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify areas of improvement.
  • Plan and implement strategies to help the business reach project goals.

We would love to hear from you if you've had experience in the following -

  • Ability to implement change projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use and demonstrate the use of Quality tools such as SPC, value stream mapping, 5S, SMED, Four Fields analysis, flow, and other problem-solving techniques.
  • Experience in driving new CI techniques, within a manufacturing environment.
  • Engineering, or relevant education within a technical division (ideally Six Sigma/Lean)
