Micro Electronics Sales Manager (Home Based)

A leading global manufacturer of electronic safety critical solutions is looking to recruit an experienced, results driven & ambitious Sales Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing business which can provide further training & development and good career prospects.

This role will require regular travel across the UK & Overseas.

Purpose of Role:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing both existing & new markets to generate revenue in line with operational & strategic objectives by maximising margins on all new business opportunities.

You will identify & present to the Head of Sales, any new potential business opportunities that may require investment in either manufacturing technology or new product development

Skills / Experience/ Person Attributes:

* Proven experience and track record in the Electronics manufacturing industry
* Working knowledge of Opto-Electronics
* Experience of Sales strategies
* Understanding of commodity electronic components
* Knowledge & experience of supply into various market sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Power Generation

* Ability to travel
* Ability to gain Security Clearance
* Full UK Driving License

Responsibilities:

* New Business Generation to meet market growth objectives
* Sales planning & lead generation/qualification
* Present monthly forecast data
* Produce customer visit reports & maintain accurate customer based data
* Undertake Sales & Marketing Research to identify potential new customers & markets
* Negotiate customer T&C's.
* Identify and advise Senior Management of all new market opportunities
* Proactively manage new customer expectations
* Attend exhibitions, seminars trade shows etc.
