Project Manager

A leading manufacturer of safety critical applications, is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

Purpose of Role:

The Project Manager will be responsible for OTIF delivery of on-going and new manufacturing programmes. You will be the main point of contact for customers regarding large projects in Manufacturing.

The Successful Candidate will have:

* Experienced Project Manager managing multiple programmes at a time, with a proven track record of OTIF delivery in a manufacturing/engineering environment
* Recognised Project Management Qualification
* Proven knowledge of Project Management methodologies & processes
* Experience of managing a multi-disciplined team
* Experience of international customers

Responsibilities Overview:

* Delivery of Manufacturing Programmes to time, cost & quality
* Develop the Programme management process, infrastructure & resources
* Ensure all programmes align to the existing business processes
* Act as the point of escalation for customer issues within individual programmes
* Responsible for developing, approving & implementing plans to achieve cost and schedule reductions wherever possible
* Responsible for helping to resolve conflicts that exist between programmes within Engineering
* Managing complex development programs through to completion
* Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly presentation of progress to Customers and Senior Management
* Assist marketing in the generation of RFQ's by providing costing inputs & schedules as required.
* Hold and chair programme progress reviews as required
* Ensure awareness of and compliance with company policies & procedures relating to PM function and successful programme delivery.
