A leading global car manufacturer is currently seeking a resilient and creative Tactical Campaign Manager with previous experience in an Area/Field Manager, General Manager or Product Manager type role within the automotive industry, looking for their next career move. You will have first class communication skills and be able to put your ideas across eloquently and with confidence. This role is based at their Head Office but there will be travel required for meetings from time to time.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of sales campaigns to achieve new vehicle sales volume and contribution margin. You will work in closely with the Product Team, Sales Planning and Finance to manage incentive costs across all sales channels, in order to optimise volume and contribution margin. You will be managing the planning and ordering processes for new car stock, ensuring sufficient production to meet sales targets with minimal ageing stock.

The Role: As Tactical Campaign Manager you will be: -

* Analysis of the New Car market to identify trends and determine risks and opportunities within each sales channel.
* Analysis of campaign effectiveness through web metrics, determining; web visits to brand or offer page, vehicle configurations, finance calculations, finance proposals and named leads.
* Analysis of each model's sales funnel, understand the conversion at each stage of the funnel in order to predict future order take.
* Tracking of order take and order bank trends and monitoring sales mix by channel and model trim compared to competitive basket.
* Tracking the model performance within segment and sales channel to plan on how to improve market position relative to competitors.
* Evaluating competitive transaction offers in each sales channel, to track competitiveness relative to basket.
* Creating retail strategies for each sales channel with clear monthly payment logic
* Tracking product lifecycle in collaboration with the product team to ensure effective new model launch strategies and the development of edition or buzz models.
* Tracking campaign costs by offer to ensure achievement of budget and tracking contribution margin by version to ensure achievement of profitability target.
* In conjunction with the Head of Sales & Market Planning and the Supply Planning Analyst, develop key supply and stocking strategies
* Working in conjunction with the marketing team to continually review product and offer message in the market place
* Manage the development and sign off process of the sales campaigns, communicating appropriately both internally and to the Dealer network.

To be successful in the Tactical Campaign Manager role you will have:

* Understanding of marketing principles
* Budget management and cost control skills
* Flexibility to adapt to a wide scope of activities

* Motor industry experience
* Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines
