Regional Sales Executive - Working From Home

A globally renowned and respected manufacturer of test instrumentation used in engineering and manufacturing business across all sectors, is now looking to expand their UK operations by adding Regional Sales Executives to their team. The first appointment will cover the Northern Territory from Liverpool to Grimsby and up.

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will be given accounts in the region to look after and be expected to seek out new accounts with as much or as little support as you feel you need. This area of the business is hugely profitable and as a result, RSEs tend to earn £25K per annum in commission alone!

With the recent pandemic, the need to go out to meet new and existing customers face to face has halved. This home-based role requires 2 demonstrations per day (on average) with half of them being performed online. There are expenses to cover meals for early starts or late finishes and even overnight stays when required, so you're always covered to operate inside the availability of your customers.

Some of your responsibilities are listed below:

• Create and execute annual sales plan (order intake, sales revenue and margin targets)
• Manage and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring you explore all areas of their business to get the most out of each account
• Continuously improve technical and commercial knowledge, maintain market awareness and market intelligence

The ideal candidate will be from an engineering or manufacturing environment with excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness. A proven track record in account management within an electrical / mechanical manufacturing business will bode well when being short-listed for this position.
